Chris Mortensen: Bryce Young is the pick, they all love Bryce Young

Personally, I think it's Young - I think it was always Young. Stroud they are doing as much homework as they can to see if he can pass Young - but ultimately it will be Young.

Either case I'll be thrilled. I'll say this, I give it a less than 1% chance that it's Richardson.

I listened to the pauline interview, pounding the table is an exaggeration. He basically said Reich just really likes AR but its 20% chance they actually take him. He said everybody in the building is pretty much in consensus on Stroud and its been that way for a while.

He also said the trade was bad for the Panthers.  He seems like a moron

Something that could be a question mark for Young over the course of 17+ games a year is his ability to step into an important road game in December/January.

HS ball at Mater Dei in southern CA, college ball at Alabama and never playing in a cold environment given the concern with his durability is something to consider. Cotton Bowl at ATT stadium in late December looks to be the coldest temp he's had to play in.

Philly, Green Bay, New York, and Seattle are not fun places to visit in a playoff atmosphere.

Not a decision changing element, but I'd think it's a thought when the Panthers brass is discussing durability. Taking a pounding for at minimum, 17 games when he's averaged 13 games/year in a warm environment.

The SNY.tv Jets site took Pauline off of Jets coverage in 2018 by recommendation of the Jets themselves

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
