It would make sense if we prefer Young, but are sold on both (which is kind of seems like we are).  Depending on the compensation it could be worth it for us to take the other guy plus the draft capital.

I got it but it still doesnt make sense.  We would trade to 1 only to go to 2 for one pick and the second best qb?   Nah it doesnt make sense.  What are folks thinking the texans would actually give us for 1?

I look at it like this...

If they traded up for the #1 pick they obviously had a specific QB they really wanted. You just don't trade to the top and not be certain who your QB is.

I think it's becoming more clear by the day that Bryce Young will be our QB.

I think that's exactly what they did.

They wanted to get into the QB conversation.

there's always a chance the guy we want falls getting out of the shower or they find something gross on his laptop before the draft

^This 100 percent... don't promise someone the pick and then have to back out because something completely unforeseen happens.

Let it be known a couple of days in advance of the draft and shift the attention to Houston. Until then, our name keeps being brought up on all sports channels, websites and twitter feeds. It's good, free public relations.

Right now the reports are saying there are people in Carolina's camp that like both.  Say we are 55% Young and 45% Stroud.  Pick 33 may be enough to say yeah Stroud plus pick 33 > Young.  Maybe Houston thinks pick 33 is worth it to make sure they get the QB they want if they have a lot higher grade on Young than Stroud.

Stroud fans just won’t show up. Having fans show up with Stroud/Levis/AR signs would not be the best look.

I get what they are doing. It seems most of these Bryce to CAR stuff is coming from Mortensen and King types. The old trusted guard.

Are they not going to show up on Sundays too?

Who says we would get the second best qb at 2?  No two nfl team boards are alike.  The fact that 50% like Young and 50% like Stroud is a solid clue.  The panthers may have these guys ranked the same.  Why not get a little extra compensation if available?

    • Even all the rookie QB's who haven't played a single snap ranked above him? I really hope Bryce is using all this as motivation in some capacity. Because if this doesn't motivate him I don't know what will.
    • Many users see a message stating that QuickBooks +1-844-476-5438 requires a system reboot to complete its installation. This typically happens when a new QuickBooks update has been installed. However, even after rebooting, the update doesn't always complete, and the reboot notification continues to loop incessantly. What is "QuickBooks Requires to Reboot to Complete Installation" error can be identified as follows: Initially, you download the installer from QuickBooks  +1-844-476-5438 and launch it with administrative rights. You proceed with the VC9 installation. An error message is quickly followed by a system reboot request. You click on the 'Yes' option. However, this only leads to the same error message reappearing, followed by a regular reboot. The installer starts on its own, and the cycle repeats endlessly. If you choose 'No' when the reboot prompt appears and then manually restart, your computer system states that the installation was interrupted unexpectedly. You must redo the process from the beginning. This error can be triggered by a variety of factors, including: A Corrupted or Damaged Hard Drive: If your hard drive is damaged or corrupted, it may affect the functioning of installed programs, including QuickBooks. An Impaired or Missing QBWUSER.INI File: This crucial QuickBooks  +1-844-476-5438 file can lead to installation errors if damaged or absent. An Excessively Long Company Name: QuickBooks might not function properly if the company name entered in the software is too lengthy. Incorrect QuickBooks Desktop Installation: During installation, errors can cause ongoing issues, such as constant reboot requests. There is a problem with this Windows installer package Outdated Operating System: If your operating system is old and no longer supported, it may cause issues with running updated software versions like QuickBooks. Resolving the "QuickBooks Requires Reboot to Complete Installation" error may seem challenging, but it can be addressed by following these steps:
    • Of course. That’s what I said. Bad goalie play and the style of defense. Florida played amazing.  Rods decision to stick with a struggling Freddie cost us. Plus, Florida may be more talented than us and they play a very heavy game. Something we don’t do well minus Svech.  Glad the rangers lost.
