Josh Klein on the recent Bryce “smoke”

Josh was on WFNZ this morning 

And the way he talked, it’s Not just smoke 

-Said when they traded up they were torn between a few prospects.

- mentioned as the pro days and meetings went and they met with the people.  They have an idea or have their guy by now.

- mentioned that’s why all the rapid leaks and movement has been happening the last few days.

- said the team Would like the fans to know somewhat who the pick is before it happens.

- pointed out the big draft party even they’re hosting.  Said with the fan base so split and torn between a few guys.  It best for the fans base to someone know instead of having everyone there who are taking sides at the event.

- said they’d like it to be more of a coronation.  Then the shock surprise

I can understand the point about not wanting Stroud/Young factions. I'm already getting bored of the back and forth between the two sides. I'm happy with either one.

Debated so one camp can say "told you!" to the other the first time something negative happens

We had to deal with the same 10 posters or so popping in every time Cam threw an incomplete pass for way longer than you’d probably believe

I think it is rather silly to have 2 sides--I see the value in each, but to take a side and argue it as if you are certain about your correctness is foolish.  I am 51% Bryce because I think he has a Mahomes/Brady type mind. However, I definitely see the reason we would take Stroud. 

It just depends on your offense, what you want in your qb.  The only thing I have heard is "point guard" a few times, and to me, that points to Young.  So far, I have been defending Young a bit lately because I think the size issue is overblown when people use that as an excuse to want Stroud.  Go back and watch earlier Ohio State games and not just the Georgia game and his highlight reels, you should question Stroud a bit. On the other hand, I have been making fun of Young's height as well.  The thing is this--you just do not know and when we pick, you will not know then either.  We will know around 2025.

Personally, As team Bryce I plan to immediately start mocking his height and weight the second we draft Stroud.

there's just something about derek anderson that I trust

It kinda just seems like you’re kidding yourself at this point if you don’t see the way it’s headed

maybe it’s a big Texans smokescreen or maybe it isn’t and the Texans make a good offer anyways, maybe CJ comes in and really delivers in the interview

but it’s pretty clear at this point with the way these things usually work which way it’s trending

I apologize for my douchey posts last night in some of these Bryce and CJ threads. Drinking bourbon and watching the hurricanes fumble the metro division away to the Devils doesn’t mix well and that frustration spilled out onto this board. I’ll truly be happy with either but prefer Bryce.

I think they should sit all the Stroud supporters on the south side, and all the Young supporters on the north side.  The endzones are for AR and Levis fans--and all undecided fans.
