lol a mid round pick?!?!?!

I'm sorry, but if we flip picks with the Texans and only get a mid round pick for doing so, then Fitterer should be fired immediately.

If we weren't taking a player of the same position, sure it makes sense, but that's not the case.

Hell, the mid round pick wouldn't be worth just it rubbing whichever player we end up drafting the wrong way.  I'd be pissed if I was that QB and the team didn't take me 1st overall just to pick up like a 3rd round pick.

Would make me think I was a consolation prize for who the Texans didn't want, not that the Panthers wanted me, cause if they REALLY wanted me, they wouldn't have risked losing me to pick up a 3rd round pick.

#2, #12, and their 2nd or next year's 1st, anything less and they can go kick rocks while we take our QB #1 overall.

That’s exactly why I think people who think the trade is realistic is living in a alternative universe.  No team is trading the farm to move up 1 spot.
Chicago traded like a a 3rd rd pick to move from 3 to 2.  And we have people in our fan base thinking we can get a top 15 pick And MORE, from them to move 1 spot.

You DO realize Tua is thicker and heavier than Stroud right?
guessing you are wanting Richardson at 1?

and Tua’s injuries are head injuries, which size has no impact on.  Just ask Michael Oher and Luke.

Didn't he also need ankle surgery, and dislocate his damn hip?

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
