My opinion doesn't but my money does so...

Yeeeeaaahhh...it doesn't mean anywhere near as much as you think 😄

If you're actually stupid enough to believe there's going to be some sort of massive fan revolt if the Panthers don't take the quarterback you want, I can't help you.

Even if fans boo the choice, who gives a rat's ass? The only thing that matters is whether we win.

Levis is a massive douche and I would fully believe that he would tell friends and family that he's getting picked 1st overall despite the Panthers never telling him poo. But more likely this is just made up internet bullshit and the line movement is idiots riding the wave (like that gamestop idiocy). Bryce is the guy for us

He's 24 years old and sucks at football. I cannot imagine taking an old project like Levis or Hooker in the first round, let alone 1st overall, let alone first overall where you had to trade a bunch to get there.

I ruled out Levis being our number 1 pick.... but I am excited about the possibility. This NFL draft could go down the exact same way the NBA draft went down for the orlando Magic.

Everyone was ruling out Paolo Banchero, saying he was too slow and couldnt play 2ways in the NBA. The media and the league were thinking that Poalo would be the third player taken off the board.... Orlando Magic kept everything close to chest.....

mocks had them taking Jabari Smith or Chet Holmgren...

They ended up with Paolo.. and Paolo is a bonified superstar. If this were to repeat itself in the NFL... I'd be so happy. Ofc Levis would need to be that superstar.

I don't see what they're all upset about. Panthers like dual threat QBs, the media loves Blaine Gabbert types.

TD said the were enamored by AR, well Levis may be the compromise between the Brycers and ARs in the office.

Good pick.

he's got the maturity level of a 17 year old. definitely the least mature of the bunch.

yeah if we stayed at 9 and the other 3 were gone, take a shot on Levis, still probably too much of a risk to take at that position but we need a QB so ok. But at 1st overall after trading up what we did and with legit guys in Young/Stroud there, taking levis would be the biggest disaster in team history, and we've had our fair share of those

    • Pytor kochetkov assigned to Chicago for conditioning stint. Wonder if he gets playing time in the playoffs if Bussi or Freddy flounders
    • What specific LT at 19 are all of the OT Stan’s wanting? Be specific. All have issues and are not guaranteed to improve the OL.. The chances of one of these LT’s who are projected at 19 (Proctor, Lomu) being a bust is much higher than a guy like Lemon/Concepcion imo. Do you really want to draft a kid who has weight struggles along with lateral movement issues? And the other who was a shitty run blocker vs Big 12 competition? Morgan and Co. want to see how Rasheed Walker plays.. They also want to see how Icky’s rehab goes.. There’s a lot of  “wait and see at OT”  We don’t have the luxury for our 1st round pick being a backup. We lack top end talent. Morgan and the others have made it known they want to win now. For that reason, I’m almost positive we punt on OT in the first this year and worry about it next year in the first round if need be.    Thieneman would be ideal. He’s a natural “center field” safety with great coverage skills. For the posters who want trade up for Downs…Do you realize he struggles in coverage? He’s more of a box safety. We already have two of those players.. I wouldn’t mind trading in front of the Vikings for the Thieneman though.. Next need would be DT, but I don’t see the value there at 19.. Same with edge. WR at #19 is very realistic. Who would improve this team more than Lemon/Concepcion? You could argue a slot CB, but the value isn’t great there either. People tend to forget the Seattle Seahawks game.. Yes BY sucked, but no one was getting open.. We could use a quick savvy route runner to beat man coverage. TMAC and Coker are great, but consistently creating separation vs Man Coverage is not their strength.
