Would #114 get Chase Young?  You know he isn't going back there in '24?

If our second (#39) and our fourth (#114) got us Lucas Van Ness I'd consider it. He could be Watt level.

I'd honestly trade back with Miami if they'd listen.  Target a solid CB and zone in on Dereck Hall.  Offer our picks #39 and #145 for Miami's #51, #94, and #197

For someone who is the first to get up in their feelings when called out for sharing information they think they have it’s weird you’d take this route but you do you.

im not even sure what you mean by that.  I was "punching the clock" meaning i was done with the convo and moving into draft mode.

I figured you were playing the broken clock is right twice a day

Anyways let’s move on. We won’t agree on Chinn. I won’t fault them for moving him, you don’t agree, that’s completely fine. That’s why I come to this board, to have people counter what I think

I would trade #114 for Chase Young in a heartbeat. If he somehow stays healthy we strike gold. His talent is not the problem. Maybe he needs new trainers?

Washington isnt trading Chase Young lol

They're making him prove hes not a bust before they give him a big contract, but if he plays well they'll pay up for him.

    • I hate to praise Atlanta but what they did was not dumb. The only issue is where they drafted Penix. #8 overall was very high for a QB with Penix’s injury history. But it wasn’t a bad decision. I wish the Panthers took a broader approach to finding a franchise QB after Cam.  Cousins is old and recovering from a serious injury, so he is obviously a temporary placeholder. It makes sense they hedged their bet on Cousins, because Atlanta was burned by holding onto Matt Ryan too long while his skills degraded. If Cousins can still play, Penix gets to sit on the bench and learn which has proven to be a winning strategy for developing young QBs. If Cousins sucks or gets hurt again, they have a legit backup plan to see what they have in Penix.  Where are the Panthers if Bryce gets hurt or sucks again this season? The season is over and they’ll be considering drafting another QB next year.
    • Same as when Jordan Gross said that having to block Julius Peppers made him a better player. But I mean no sh*t, having to block one of the best DE’s of all time will up your game. I bet Gross went up against other DE’s in games and was like, this is nothing. Horn isn’t that level of player obviously, but Legette has his work cut out for him going against Horn in practice. The coaches should be able to tell pretty quick what they have in Legette.
