Bro they're editors. I've not watched Hard Knocks ever nor the last preseason game but editing things to look more dramatic and/or heroic and to make someone look worse is editing for tv 101.

They literally had a highlight compilation of the Jets imploding on Hard Knocks.   But the Jets are counting 11 sacks by one player and laughing it up ….it probably makes the cut simply because it existed.  Not some goal to make us look bad. .

The inferiority and excuses some of these posters make is borderline insane.  Nobody is out to get the Panthers

Crown and the Claw is one account you do not question here. They have never given us bad information. Im serious with this post.

Nah I’m fine being questioned and certainly haven’t been infallible but the things I say are sourced, I’m just not gonna reveal by whom. There is plenty of info out on Jets not wanting HK and so they aren’t giving nearly as much access or cooperation as years past.

The teams all get input on what can and cannot go out and it’s in the best interest of the studio to make the host team look good. All the teams are already reluctant to be a participant and mostly forced into it if chosen. It would be even worse if they actively made the team/players/coaches look bad.

Gotcha.  I just think the Jets have way more going on then being worried about the editing of a cable show

I believe it was discussed on the Pat M show, but the Jets (along with other football team who are on the show) have someone from the executive leadership team and an NFL rep work with the HK team on permission of the content that is allowed to be shown and what that content can contain.

It's not like the coaching staff is sitting in there and reviewing the footage. You have to remember that an NFL franchise has 100s of employees.

Hard knocks is doing everything in it's power to portray AR as NOT the whackjob asshole a lot of people thinks he is. Whether he is or not, dude can still play with the best of them. Jets are going to be a force to be reckoned with this season.

You have the Jets winning the AFC?

I seen this before. The media darlings never work out. This is not a Tom Brady situation. Aaron Rodgers gets put on that level but he's just not that great when the games really matter. Rodgers haven't been to a SB in over a decade. Now that he gets a new team in the largest media market we are supposed to crown them the favorites?

I seen this before and it usually ends with said team failing expectations. Im not picking the Jets over the Bengals or Chiefs. That's just my opinion. You like them to win the AFC then so be it.

I'm not ready to crown them AFC champs just yet, but they can definitely take the AFC East. Yes, I am confident in saying that division will come down to the wire with them and Buffalo. Jets probably win their last 7 games.

That division is crazy I honestly could see them all splitting games with each other. Not sure who wins it but I probably go with the Bills just because Allen is the best QB in that division. Getting Miller back will also be a huge boost for them.

I feel like Buffalo isn’t evolving or improving much and NYJ and MIA have been adding a ton and already have quickly upcoming pieces.

I'd be pissed if Reich were in the same situation and let his foot off of the gas.  Preseason or not it's the nfl.

Flashbacks to 2015 and the team almost blowing several massive leads, including the Seahawks divisional game... blech.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
