the tweet is vague... Frank breaks it down very thoroughly in the presser. The tweet is poo if you ask me.

Just came across as "well bates wasnt even supposed to be there so its not bryces fault" which is comical and scary at the same time.  

He actually states that it would his own fault (frank) bc they didnt prepare Bryce for players potentially cheating out of position. He mentioned that if he would have prepared Bryce for that we would have had taken more shots.

I mean, okay I guess but this all star staff has only been coaching him since may so maybe they might have brought that up before the first game.   This is the nfl players make plays.  Just reads like an excuse but like I said I will listen to the presser in about 15 for better clarity.

take how you will and mold it the way you want .... but typically players who dont follow the play call dont stay on the field for long.

Can't agree on the Teddy vibes.

Once Bryce saw the opportunity, he throwed to people that got open or was about to get open.

Teddy never throwed to a contested situation, even if the WR was about to get open, heck, he could even see an open player and still went for the checkdown.

Still remember when a game was on the line, and instead of going for the 8 yard contested play which could convert, he threw the checkdown for 2-3 yards.... on a third or fourth down. 

Do Bryce need to make completion on long throws, yes and its a bit of a concern. But its only been one game.

He gambled. And he gambled well. 
 

So film probably indicated he was supposed to be deep center, but that he cheated up instinctually.

The Falcons D was playing to jump the routes over the middle because they believed that is what Frank/Bryce would be doing.  That's football.  And it's frankly predictable.  Most knew and projected going in Frank/Bryce would keep it short and in front of the safeties.  That's not breaking the rules.  That's just good defense.

However, these comparisons to Manning, Burrow and other accomplished qbs that struggled are just ridiculous.  You could much more easily build a list of QBs that ended up being terrible with comparable 1st game stats.

Example: Jimmy Clausen 19/33 182y 1TD 1INT

Now, I'm not saying he's Jimmy Clausen any more than his first game stats say he's Peyton Manning or Joe Burrow.  I'm just saying these comparisons....at all...are a ridiculous way to support an argument.  Let the rook cook, we'll all know in time.

The point of the comparisons is to show that it’s meaningless it’s not to say he’s going to be a hall of famer because he had a rough debut.

      When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.

      Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
