Yea I need to see SOMETHING from Bryce tomorrow. I dont even care if we win or lose so much, I need to see a better performance out of him. 1 TD 2 INT to the same player 146 passing yard with a 53 percent completions is horse poo for a #1 overall pick.

I agree. Richardson looks good. Just like Cam early in his rookie season, he was unstoppable. I haven’t seen a single play from Bryce yet that made me say “Wow” and Richardson has had a few.

Last week was so frustrating because we lost the same way we’ve been losing the last couple of years. Defense does their thing and the offense/QB loses us the game. We traded away a lot of assets with the expectation we wouldn’t lose that way any longer

If Bryce balls out and we lose I will not care. I said earlier this week we can go 4-13 this year but if Bryce establishes himself as a franchise QB I’ll be good

This. I don't expect to win the SB this year. I just want to see that we have our franchise QB in place.

Strouds been running for his life for 2 weeks now but he has handled it pretty well for somebody that was labeled a statue.

Stroud is more mobile than he was given credit for. He just didn’t have to move around much because he played trash teams at OSU for the most part.

Same here, i have been saying this since pre season. Give me a big play, big run, hit a deep ball...something.

The good news is looking down the road is that if Young is a bust and I’m not saying he is yet by any means but it should nicely align with Arch Manning coming out of college

    • I mean, if Moore really wants out, then it would behoove the Bears to make it happen sooner than later. X is a lot younger and cheaper, and may be a better fit for Johnson's musings than a disgruntled, unnecessary, overpaid vet. If they can dump his salary and maybe get a fourth or so in return, it may be worth it to them. As for development, I'm not concerned. You're talking about a seeming bust, a day three guy and a UDFA. They are developing relative to their ceilings. I doubt any of them will ever command the coverage, money, or the respect that Moore has acquired. He's a tier above them. Yes, even X.
    • IMO, if Ceedee plays against us, the game probably goes the other way. Same with Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins. Our team just isn't designed to beat teams with two high level receivers like that. But when you look at the league, how many teams really have two guys of that caliber?  There's nothing wrong with defensive adjustments, but sometimes I think a lot of fans want Evero to call a different play like a game on madden, and defensive football just isn't like that. That said, I thought we did a much better job this season against the Cowboys of flipping Jaycee and at least making them work for it, opposed to last season when they literally just lined CeeDee up on the other side of the field every single snap.  For us to just straight up switch to consistent man coverage, or a different zone, or whatever, we likely would consistently need different personnel on the field. Doing it a few times a game is a gamble and can work, but if we consistently run man coverage against the Cowboys, eventually a RB is going to beat a linebacker, or something of that nature with our personnel. Part of the reason Evero likes this scheme is that, while we have our defaults and presets, what we do is very multiple, and you can do a lot of different things pre and post snap. We are a challenging defense to read. But as you said, if guys are getting beat, it doesn't really matter what you call.
