Look back at it. Joe Brady really wasn't the problem.  Our offense has gotten progressively worse since firing him.

2020

.Total Yards/Game 349.5 21st

Rushing Yards/Game 106.5 21st

Net Passing Yards/Game 243.0 18th

Not great by any means but how many times have we throw for 250 yards in the past 2 seasons and 2 games

No the offense has gotten worse since we cut Bridgewater. He was the best Qb we've had since a prime Cam Newton. But butt hurt fans wanted to rag him about dink and dunk. Now they've seen what real dink and dunk looks like from Donald to the young Byrce (hopefully he gets better)

Brady was here in 2021 and got fired as mentioned because the offense was stagnant.

So if you going to give credit, give it to who really deserved it.

Sorry but Darnold last year (as pitiful as it sounds) was the best QB since we cut Cam. If  I’m not mistaken he is also the winningest QB in the past 5 years for us as well.

People forget Teddy throwing 2 yard check downs the entire game.

Only 1 with a winning record as a starter in this post Ron era

Players are giving up on their routes early, we are calling rub routes but we are missing the rub, the timing is off on our meshes, and multiple receivers are in the same area at the same time on several plays. It’s pretty bad….

Theilen is the only legit route runner and he is slow.  He should be #3 on a good roster.  Our Ricky Prohel.

Mingo, TMJ, Shenault are just potential.  Chark is a niche fast guy. Relying on that was just poor management going into a season.

    • I think we are looking at the same stats, I think you just have pro-Bryce goggles on.  That seems to be pretty clear by the post history, anyway.  Not really sure how or why anyone would still be in that camp, but carry on.
    • I would argue their play during their respective seasons was elite, and they elevated those around them.  Regardless of what they became after that moment.
    • Right team, wrong year and player. Since the 2003 season, there are only 2 SB winning QB's who won't end up in the HOF (Hurts not included as I think that's still up in the air), would be Flacco and Foles. The next worst QB to win in that time frame would be Eli, followed by Wilson, and then Big Ben. The other SB winning QB's since then... Brady, Mahomes, Stafford, Peyton, Rodgers, Brees... basically some of the best to ever play the game and Stafford, a surefire HOFer after winning his SB. You have to go back to the 2002 season to find a truly average QB to have won the SB with Brad Johnson and then 2 years before that with Dilfer.  Before that, you have to go all the way back to the 1991 season when the Redskins won, everyone else between there are HOFers.
