I think the order of blame goes as follows:

1. Reichs system as a whole

2. Reichs play calling

3. Offensive line play

4. Miles Sanders being a useless jabroni

5. Offensive skill (or lack thereof)

6. Bryce Young

I wouldn’t say I disagree with that…

BUT, generally when you draft a #1 overall QB and mortgage your future to do that….you expect that player to be able to overcome some of that in spurts/moments.  Bryce can’t .  Bryce is dependent on all that to work to shine.   Which makes him over drafted by us IMO.

we're screening because we keep getting blitzed and we can't run the ball and when we attempt deeper passes we aren't getting separation save AT.

Yes Bryce needs to hit tighter windows but we'll see if that'll come with time.

If you think it's an excuse to say our receivers don't get a ton of seperation I'd love to be proven wrong.

    • Good read and stuff under it is not bad either. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/panthers-cb-jaycee-horn-says-184519429.html
    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
