It’s true

He was actually pro Bryce leading up to the draft. I'd rather converse with someone willing to acknowledge reality even if it means they were wrong over someone who spams posts about Andy Dalton scoring garbage touchdowns while hoping our #1 pick looks good against perceived lesser competition.

Like I said, insufferable. Good for Stroud but he’s not a Panther, and his success has no bearing on whether or not Bryce will succeed. Careers aren’t written in 3 games and never have been.

But the coaching staff is supposed to take all the heat for his play?  Bryce is gonna get some people fired.

Dalton had 6 completions of 15+ yards in the one damn game he’s played in. Six. 2 touchdowns of 15+ yards.

This is even more telling of what Frank thinks of Young’s arm.

It truly couldn’t be anymore clear. They stand up there and tell us how smart Bryce is so it’s not a playbook thing. It’s a physical limitation thing.

But Andy had to ask for those plays!!!!!!!  Yeah and Andy got them and executed them.

And good players traded away, which is possibly bout to happen.

Look, we need to sit him for a while before moral goes totally in the toilet.  I'm not talking about a permanent benching, but at least a few games and let's get a win or two under our belts, then ease the rookie back in.  I'm still pissed we missed that opprtunity last week versus a VERY beatable Vikings team.  If Dalton starts that game, we got our first 'W' of the year.

    • Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July.  If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
    • I think it's because we've had a player to hate on NO (Breese) and Atl (Ryan) while Tampa had Winston who was never really a threat or dislikable like the other 2
    • yeah. it was also reported that Brown was taking it light today because of oblique soreness. Sounds like the 2 of them were a bit too rough with each other for practice.
