I hope Panthers fans saw tonight what I've been screaming. Our QB just can't do the things I see from other NFL QBs. I don't hate Bryce Young. Stop saying it. It's not his fault. He's just VERY physically limited at the NFL level.

Meh. Justin Fields is an A+ athlete, and Howell was always an underrated runner.

If you're intimating, once again, that Young can't throw long, just miss me with that.

I'm not talking about running, bro.

You're clinging to hope that Bryce can throw deep and fit balls into tight windows. Where's the proof? I saw throws every single drive tonight that Bryce Young simply hasn't shown the ability to make. That's just the sad reality.

The team doesn't think he can.. why they changed route combinations for him compared to the normal offense.

Normal offense would have similar route combinations that the team used in Seattle.

It's so blatantly obvious that Steve Smith said the team has an issue because of it after the Seattle game.

Scott fitterer is a fuggin moron, he helped the bears win this season with trading Dj Moore, and he is also giving them the #1 overall pick too. DJ single handedly won this game for the bears! Offense wins football games, burns and brown don’t score TDs! Should have traded one of those two guys instead.

It’s always the narrative that the panthers never know how to use our players, trade them and they become all pro players ala Moore and CMC. We are an inept franchise

    • That is probably a good point that I did not consider. It doesn’t force their hand financially, to declare early.
    • Realistically he's probably not still going to be under contract when hes good to go again? Unfortunately for him you cant sign him for more than a small one year deal until he can prove hes still a good player... that might not happen.  I think hes played his last down as a panther.
    • It has been going down that backyard ball road with the QBs a long time. It also has made it more difficult to evaluate OL for the pro game.    I agree though that the NIL is making it even worse. Then they get in the league and suck, coaches get fired. Here comes a new system every year for some of them, same as you are talking about in college.    Unfortunately, IMO, the league has responded by taking the path of least resistance offensively.    The only saving grace for the QB problem we identified here is the slotted salaries out of the draft. No more 100 million rookie deals. Which today would be 250 million and even more.  So to me, paying a player that doesn’t bring success in the first two or three years, you can’t do it. Better to take another shot in the draft or reclaim someone else's failure. Given that all staffs are not equal. Look what Shanahan did with Purdy for instance. And their getting off of Lance quickly.    In theory if Canales is a QB whisperer type, which we don’t know he isn’t at least to a higher degree than many (not including the established masters) we should be quicker on the trigger with these QBs. If Bryce doesn’t show out next year we really need to hit the reset.
