Do the Panthers have a Shotgun problem

I think they call 2 plays on every down. The QB has the power to switch out (kill-kill) when he sees a certain defense. That means the defense shows they are playing the pass when we're in shotgun, they'll probably switch to a run play. But it seems defenses are setting up the QB to do that switch IMO.

It's what happens when you run a shotgun offense and have a rookie QB who doesn't take hits well or shots down field. No one respects anything deep and as long as you can keep the pressure on it's an obvious and basic game plan that keeps winning against the Panthers. The deep drop backs are the stuff of dreams for speed rushers and with no respect deep the running game is easily contained. It's not rocket science

It's the easiest way for him to see over the line and let lanes develop if he's 5-7 yards back in shotgun. That's why he exclusively operates out of it. We limit our offense a lot because of this. It sucks because we were always so successful being a power run team. I really hope our next coach can salvage Bryce and be more creative.

Well we run the WC Spread so yeah a lot of what we do is going to be out of the gun.

WC= Quick Reads/Release/Win the Outside

Spread= Spread out the defense

Running it out of gun gets the ball in the QBs hands quicker to make a read since he doesn’t have to drop back.

Reich is poo but it should be fairly obvious at this point some of the offensive scheme is built around Bryce Young's deficiencies that were known before the draft. There's only so much any coach is going to be able to do to compensate for Bryce Young's phsyical limitations. This was the risk with the pick.

You hate Bryce so much, in a thread about play calling you wanted to bring him up to argue he isn’t physically capable of…. Taking a snap under center?

ok man…

Pot calling the… you know what never mind

You can shout at people like his mom until you're blue in the face it isn't going to make him a franchise quarterback.

Do you honestly think his path to success is to tell him he's doing nothing wrong and everything is going great? How old are you? Legitimately some of you have the mentality of a child. It's baffling.

Enjoy your day bud.

That was a temper tantrum from what I assume is a grown man I wasn’t expecting.

is that really what you think is happening? Our coaches are sitting him down after each game and telling him you did everything great and have nothing to work on. What planet are you living on? Your response is just incoherent seethe. Get off the internet for a while

The Panthers have a layered problem beginning with poor coaching poor QB play and poor execution all around.

If the best thing you can do is look around any thread you enter and start scanning for haters instead of identifying issues with the team that do unfortunately heavily involve our rookie QB you do not seek dialogue you seek an echo chamber. Go create your own message board then if this place isn't up to your high standards. The door is that way 👉👋

We played stout run defenses in New Orleans and Seattle.  If you look at the Minnesota game, they often stacked the line on first down.  As many as 7 players on the line.  Everyone else lined up 10 yards or so from the LOS.  They know our OL is struggling, we have a rookie QB and our receivers can't threaten them deep.
