Bryce outplayed Stroud today

I'm just thrilled to be in the win column today!

But I will say that I've bene growing tired of all the "Woulda/Shoulda" game we've all been playing.  I'm not going to go after anyone who wants to play it, but it's like fantasizing about winning the lottery.  Just fiction.  So if you want to, keep on keeping on.  Huddle gotta huddle right?

Bryce is playing with some real poo line play.  OMG, how are too many times did Bryce not hit the back of his drop before dudes were in in face?  How many times was no one open?  Now Bryce wasn't perfect, he ran into some of those sacks.  That's fair, he's still a work in progress rookie.

So I'm still pretty happy with our guy, and I hope that we can continue to improve.

S2troud stans can suck it.

He did not look very good against a decimated defense missing their starters at every level.  He lost to an 0-6 team today.  Their O was NOT impressive.

He's not a Panther and probably isn't ever going to be.  Some seem to forget its a Panthers forum.

Why would I take a victory lap over a game that featured minimal offense when I wanted Anything Richardson all along?

Will levis made his first start played his first game and threw 4 TDs and got a win. He already creeping up on bryce in the stat column. Lol

Bryce for sure gained ground today.

Contrary to belief i give bryce his credit today. He played well, i mean you cant hate on those numbers. I just still refuse to entertain and stroud vs bryce dialogue.  Its still not a worthy debate to me. Lol

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
