That pick was him guessing his read because he was rushed too quickly.

I checked in last week and gave my take.  I credited him foe the couple of nice throws he made and said it was his best showing yet, but that I was still unimpressed and still saw inherent flaws and weaknesses in his game that limit the offense so it didn't feel like a satisfying "coming of age" moment like many were trying to paint it.

He just isn't very good, man.  Honestly.

Its a mixture of lack of creativity by the coaches and lack of arm strength and awareness from Bryce. He has a accurate arm but lacks strength and awareness. So everything will be short so no need to worry about anything long. Just play tight and you beat the panthers.
