How did Bryce Young get evaluated to the #1 pick? This has Tim Couch, David Carr, Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, & Sam Bradford vibes. Definitely at the bottom of the #1 overall QB list. I'd be happy if Young was a Testaverde or George level QB.

Young is worse than Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf. We have officially drafted one of the biggest busts in nfl history.

At least Thomas Browns playcalling has led to double digit points both weeks

It ain't the playcaller or the playbook bro.  I was preaching this all the way back when people were b*cthing about Reich calling plays and "his playbook."  Frank was making Bryce look bad they said.

There's a reason why QB in the NFL is the most important position in all of pro sports.  I'm not calling Bryce a bust yet, but at this point, he's hurting the team.  If I was a reporter, I would ask Frank if Byrce gives his team the best chance to win.  Frank's a honest man, so he'll either dodge the question or be truthful and say the obvious...'no.'

We Jamarcus Russell’d ourselves. That dude said he was watching game tape but they were giving him blank tapes lol…that is the mess we are in.

So you think it was a bad idea for Bryce to be leading protection meetings during training camp? Bunch of boomers saying "Oh yeah let's let this 5'10" 22 year old rookie develop our offense! S2!!!"

Ryan leaf is his floor, Sam Bradford is his ceiling. We just need to realize quick that Bryce is an absolute bust

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
