Bryce Young doesn't have a superprocessor, he is literally costing us games

These are the worst interceptions I've seen from a Panther since Jimmy Clausen. Like holy poo these are mistakes you expect from an UDFA, not from a #1 draft pick you traded a #1 pick and DJ Moore for. Inexplicably terrible passes that are dead the moment they were attempted. This is awful.

TF we gonna do about it now my ninja? Go root for the Texans and CJ. I'm a MF panthers fan, whoever TF we choose!

Lol you can like a team and dislike some of the players… forcing yourself to like poo just because has to be a sad way to live.

As a hater I’m gonna defend Bryce today. The line has been getting stomped all day.

First pick was a guess read he made because he was rushed. Second pick was the right read but a bad throw. He hasn’t done anything egregiously Clausen level today.

This team desperately needed Shenault and Damiere Byrd to survive the season. There’s no screen threat or viable deep threat to scare anyone.

Let's take the remaining rookie QB class out of the equation, Bryce just looks bad. You don't need to compare.

With protection or under duress, the velocity is not there on his throws, throws are behind or high way more than expected, and these sideline throws seem to just hang in the air forever. He just doesn't have the zip you want.

Every week I keep saying, we've gotta be patient, can't just say bust quite yet, but he's just not looking good.  There's only so many ways you can talk around that basic point.

Or we could've just drafted a QB that makes everyone around him better and not one that needed all the players around him to make him good at all.

    • Blind squirrels and all… he occasionally gets a lane and can operate.    I don’t think he can make his living there and it is why I didn’t  think we should invest a whole lot into trying to develop that part of the offense. Like with a highly drafted TE.  I feel like with him, it is super simple; you need to make running the ball your strong suit. TEs that can block. A big OL. I am concerned about the RB room there is a lot riding on Brooks. But a great RB room. If those things aren’t strengths it will not have a chance of working. Then you need to take the downfield shots which have been missing for most of three years, maybe every down isn’t defended like we are in red zone. Because that is what teams do to us.
    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
