It really is. Because the other times we sucked we weren't sucking while the guy we mortgaged the near term future of the franchise on was a big part of the sucking.

We traded all the way up for a shorter Teddy Bridgewater.... He has no zip on his throws and everything floats. For all the crap Cam got about overthrowing, I have yet to see Bryce throw a sideline pass(in bounds) with accuracy on a consistent basis...

Most people don’t care about the nuance of it all. He is the easiest target. That doesn’t absolve him of his mistakes. He has played bad too, but I am not sure how you can fairly judge anything with him.
