Can we finally get Dalton in there?

What do we accomplish with that? The fact of the matter is that you mortgaged your future for Young, whether it was Reich, Fitterer, or Tepper. You have to go with what you have, unless you can dump Bryce for a late 1st Round pick or something.

Imagine a world where we don't trade up for Bryce, and we have a shot at Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, or Bo Nix.

This is why owners don't make personnel decisions. The decisions for the 2024 QB Class are infinitely better than they were in 2023.

1. Daniels

2. Stroud

3. Maye

4. Williams

5. Nix

6. Richardson

7. DTR

8. O'Connel

9. Young?

Like he is so far down this list it's ridiculous.

Not totally destroying the locker room, not totally destroying the fanbase. When the backup is noticeably better than the starter it creates a toxic environment. How hard would you play if you knew there was almost zero percent chance of winning?

Gotta ride out the season with Young. If he still looks like Teddy 2 Gloves-lite…then I’m heavily considering trading back into the 1st for a QB I like in this draft (if I’m the GM/coach. Bare minimum, we need to take a flyer on a QB somewhere in the draft. Maybe a Howell with good tools drops in the draft.

This kid, at the very least, needs competition in camp.

You don’t have a QB until you do. That was my argument to keep Corral around as a backup option. I was wrong on that player, but I do think it’s the right call to have another young signal caller around to develop.

No one is mad that Young is starting over Dalton. Not only was Bryce taken number one, but we gave up another number one, a number two, and a play worth a number one. You almost have to give him experience. Hell, I don't like it either but there is no point in cutting bait right now considering everything is guaranteed from the picks given to his salary.

Admitting they made a huge mistake and making the most of it.

This ain't that time yet but it looks unavoidable

If we hold our trajectory and give the bears the #1 overall pick that is going to be the ultimate embarrassment and will continue to be talked/laughed about for years.  I for one would like to avoid at all costs setting the fuging bears up with that type of draft capital.  But thats me

Zero chance. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised I. The least of the final straw for Reich was suggesting to Tepper that Bryce should be benched.

Yup. He wanted to win and deal with that bag next season if he survived.

Probably the best move he made as the Panther's HC, it made him an easy $30 million to be unemployed (along with that Colts money lol) and people came flocking to his defense.

The only priority right now is building up the rest of the roster, you have to give Bryce at least one more season. Let’s be real the rest of the roster is so dreadful anyways it’s not like this over complicates things. If we’re not seeing growth next year we can start talking about other options,  but he is the surefire starter heading into next season

No one around Tepper will tell him that so he can't see it coming yet...

It's going to be fun to hear them talk endlessly about all of that and the players who could have been drafted with that #1. It's going to be brutal if they can't turn it around with the moves they are making today (They won't lol).

Trade back into the first with what?!?!  More future firsts?!?!?!

It clearly didn't work doing that when we traded up for the #1 pick, which is then costing us another #1 overall pick because of it.

But sure, let's go ahead and give up another Top 5 pick next year and potentially more to move into the back end of the 1st round to take the 5th best QB prospect in this class and have even less draft picks to help build a team around them.

That makes sense

    • Well bois, we gave the Devils their due! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... The jersey boys have been trying to jack our steeze for a few years now. They've followed our blueprints and studied our tape. Every offseason, they pounce on our sloppy seconds in a Newark minute. Quick with the puck, ferocious on the forecheck and stifling team defense. Down to the colors, this is this closest we'll come to having to play ourselves in Ole Stanley's Hockey Hoedown. As the postseason began, Rod stood flexing in the gym mirror and saw this guy staring back from the void... (Shutters) When beating us at our game didn't work, Timo and the Tri-State Trash tried to tango instead. Outside of a bitchass cheapshot on Freddie, that poo didn't work either. Their goon squad was getting wrecked by our bantam weights. As much as we all wanted to see Svechy or Staal Bunyan literally break someone in half after the Great Dane went down, they didnt need to. Our munchkins were monsters! Jarvis obliterating giants at the blue line, Logan laying the Stank on dudes twice his size and Blakers blasting Timo into next season. It was beautiful to see! (Side note: Does JBlo wear lead weights under his pads? 170lbs shouldn't be able to hit that hard!) We closed it out in 5, for the gentleman's sweep. Only team in the league to win a series in each of the past 7(?) seasons! And, this was supposed to be a rebuilding year... Onto the awards: Key To The Series : 6 for 19 - .316% IT FINALLY WORKED!!! MVP : 16/180 g/s - .911 save% - 2.53 gaa Seriously, without this dude, we would've won in 3! (Trust me bro) 3rd Star : 6/94 g/s - .936 save % - 1.59 gaa The Great Dane   2nd Star : 3 g - 5 a - +1 - 20:38 toi/g - 18 hits - 3 bs - 58.1% fo 3 PP goals and the 2OT series winning goal! WOOAAAHHH NELLY!!!!   And, your 1st Star of the series : 5 g - 1 a - +3 - 16:48 toi/g - 16 hits - 1 bs - 1 tk - 50% fo Zero, I repeat, zero penalty minutes for the series! MISSSTAAAHHH SVEEECHNIKOOOV!!!!!! Onto The Next: Now, we wait for the Habs to make it a nasty 7 game slog, while we recuperate. And, hopefully, get Nikishin, and some of the other black aces some real peactice time. We are gonna need those guys at some point. Because, if you think the Devils were dirty, hoooo boy, wait till you see what's next...
