I don't know that it's a huge deal; it just didn't happen much in college and Reich apparent didn't even attempt to try.

If it keeps pass rush  honest, you have to do it.  2 inches of heigh shouldn't take an entire set of formations out of your playbook.  Brees ran play action under center all the time.

I mean they wouldn't let him qb sneak either which Brees did often. Also looks more than 2" taller here

RPOs are typically much more quick hitting plays with YAC designed.  I hardly ever see them.

Most of our shotgun play action are just straight play action, not a true read for Bryce to give or throw it.

Just looked it up, We have run 21 RPO Plays with Bryce this season, 20th in the NFL. We have run 51 PA passes this season, 21st in the NFL.

  • 72 of 350 attempts have been either RPO or PA Passes. (21%)

Contrast that with Tua - 72 RPO attempts (#1 in the league), 97 PA Attempts (#1 in the league).

  • 169 of 377 of Tua's Pass attempts have been either RPO or PA (45%)

Reich was an idiot.

To further expand, CJ Stroud is 18th and 12th in RPO and PA respectively for 22% of all his throws...

This is not me saying Reich wanted Stroud over Young. The fact of the matter is we took Young. At that point, you put the guy you took in the best position possible to succeed, you don't force him and the rest of the offense into a scheme that no one fits.

Seriously what coach or player is going to want to come here?

But hey.  We got Beyoncé and a “full stadium (of opposing fans)”

Benjamin Allbright’s Grandpa has lived a more storied life than Forest Gump. By his account he was part of a plot to kill Hitler, fought in the Civil Rights movement, and trained astronauts for the moon landings.

What does that have to do with his post/reporting? Serial liars don’t have boundaries.

Wow so this pretty much confirms that Duce Staley was fired instead of elevated to interim HC because he wanted to do game planning and Tepper said no. My source reported yelling in the building and swears he heard the term “funky old codger.” Make no mistake it is no accident Tabor, one of the lone holdovers from the Rhule administration, was elevated. Reports are that Tabor and Campen are essentially “made men” under Tepper and Reich was forced to keep them against his will. The next head coach will have to be on board with them as well.

Which again is baffling.

Michael Lombardi's take on Frank is kind of interesting in that regard though.

I didn't really have any issue with keeping those two guys.

Frankly, there's a lot of our current staff that I'd be fine with keeping.
