I would put young 8 out of 10 on rookies that have started. Enough of the roster is untalented. The giants titans and Raiders are dirty ass hole and their rookie signal callers look competent more often then not

Stroud

Richardson

Devito

Levis

O'Connell

Bagent

Hall

Young

Dtr

Thune

I would switch levis and ar just bc ar showed very little as a passer but yeah young is way down the list saw another stat that he is bottom epa for a qualifying qb since 2011

Will Levis wasn't picked until round 2. I thought he would have been an excellent choice for us at our original spot in the top 10. If we had stayed put we would have had him inside the top 10 and kept last years #2, this years #1, the #2 in 2025, and DJ Moore.

Too many people think you have to trade up into the top 5 to get a franchise QB. If you are set on both sides of the ball and the team is in a position to compete with the QB already on the roster, move up and get your guy. If the team is poor, use the picks to build a solid roster or let a talented prospect fall to you and keep your picks. It's too expensive to give away all of those picks. Hopefully we've learned our lesson.

Oof. That picture of Levis. Makes Bryce look like a high schooler ... and not even a high schooler who plays football. Just some average kid.

Honest to god of you saw Bryce and he told you he was a college football player - forget NFL or hell even D1 - you'd automatically think kicker or punter. When he said no to that you'd go, hmmm... slot receiver? No. Nickelback? No. Return specialist? No. Bruh, we're fresh out of options. I'm a quarterback he says.

and a first round pick and a few second rounders

While aknowleging how badly the Panthers blew this it can't be overooked that the majority of our community was just as horribly wrong about these QBs

As were many pro scouts and our own talent  evaluators …or perhaps the only  talent evaluator, our owner and his compadre, the GM who wanted to relive Russell Wilson

they wanted a boy scout, the anti Cam …they got  mini mouse, not mighty mouse

i wanted AR because what i saw of him cant be taught.  He could've hidden a lot of deficiencies until they were fixed

he also can throw a long  ball, run, and egads, get a yard on a qb sneak

…Then Stroud

 i did not want Bryce

i hoped for the best and in typical Panthers fashion, if it can be fuged up, they do it

there is no fixing this. There needs to be a perfect situation for him

if im the new GM and coach, i bring in a veteran if Dalton cant be signed   Young has six  games next year to prove he belongs

how would you like to play on a pro team with a QB who cant hit a sideline pass or misses a wide open receiver in a year loke this

…your incentives have zero chance if happening    Nfl careers are short

Dalton threw for 300+ yards plays 2 TD’s in his one start with this same “terrible offense with no playmakers’

and this is why Dalton won't see the field. God forbid David and Nicole's ego for being made to look even more of an ass than they already do. SUCH A NICE BOY

This was where I was. My preference was Richardson but he and Stroud were basically my 1a and 1b. I did mental gymnastics to convince myself to be okay with Bryce but I really didn't want him. The deficiencies we've seen were there to see in his college play. But I have to admit I'm shocked by how bad he's been. Not in my wildest dreams was he gonna be THIS bad.

We watched Bryce’s ceiling last night look very pedestrian when he didn’t have Tyreek Hill to bail him out. He absolutely crumbled under pressure in crunch time all while rookie Levis shined to a historic comeback win.

The Tua comparisons were always a coping mechanism. McDaniels the system they are running there and the talent they have acquired is why that team is competing the way it has. But even with all that Tua can't get it done against tougher competition.

I swear I feel like I'm reliving the Sam Darnold justifications all over again. Remember when people were trying to compare him to Tannehill who was playing decent at the time arguing that could be Sam with the right coaching and supporting cast? Here we are again except this time we traded DJ Moore and next years first overall pick for the right to witness BY fail. This franchise is one nightmare to the next.

If I were a team at the top of the 2024 draft, and I was contemplating Williams, Bryce struggles and Levis/Stroud success would concern me. The undersized out of structure decorated playmaker has a much higher bust rate than the 6’3+ pro-style pocket passer. Out a gun to my head and ask me who works out between Williams and Maye and I’m taking Maye every time.

Hard to put Richardson above anyone given that hes taken 100 snaps and got injured 3 times, including the Cam throwing shoulder injury/surgery(for the 2nd time). He’ll have to change his throwing motion based on how it heals, career absolutely in jeopardy.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
