If he's already broken then there's no reason for a year two.  I wish the kid the best in his future endeavors, that said, it's time to Josh Rosen him.

Bro, if there was any semblance of logic in this franchise we would be a few weeks into Andy Dalton being under .500 as a starter.

That isn't the case. I was a Bryce guy through and through but there is no worse situation for a flawed QB than a disaster franchise.

It's not a matter of if he will be a bust, it's just a matter of more people accepting it.

I'd think most of us are close to that if not already there

Why watch if the game isn't giving you any enjoyment though? There's other games and things to watch instead of watching something you can't stand. Life's too short not to enjoy as much of it as you can.

Yes, yes I am. I wanted to relive the Pickles experience without being able to live the Cam experience we gained from it.

Yeah, there's better things to do with time than that.

I believe he rolls out of the pocket all the time because he can't actually see from the pocket but that's just my opinion.

Unfortunately looks to be the case.

Of course you can't tell this to the handful of folks trying to police every thread scanning for negative comments.

It's not that serious homie, I can only speak for myself but I'm mostly goofing off here on a crappy, cold rainy day

Hopefully we are force feeding Bryce steroids during the off-season so that way he can have some muscle on him next year

Being bigger wouldn't accomplish anything. We have to fix his footwork and his brain.

Good luck with that on a franchise where the owner refuses to admit there are any issues with him.

Sure there is, if he's as bad of a bust as you think he is he'll guide us to a top pick in the draft so we can try once again to solve our QB woes.

    • I just don't think some guys have it. Darnold has the panic gene. I don't think there's any fixing it. He looks really good as long as the play develops as drawn up or if he gets pressured immediately and has to go to his check down right away. It's when he has decent protection and his first read isn't open and he's standing back there in the pocket with that panic slowly building. That's when he does disastrous poo.
    • based on the QBs drafted #1 comparison thread, he’s right where he should be. if your expectations were to have a rookie lead us to the playoffs without an OL and WR corps, maybe your expectations were a bit off.
    • at some point, though, you just have to suck it up and accept it and deal with the bad deal you got.  you go through funks where you keep making mistakes and hope that you get it figured out sometime soon, but in the learning process you realize you could have done some things better but you're stuck with decisions you make. you have two choices...whine about it or just brush it off and hope can make the situation you put yourself work. i know a lot of people in here have probably never experienced or dealt with failure much in their lives, but i have and i learned to just suck it up and try to make the best of the situation you've got yourself in because you realize that you're stuck with it for a while. doesn't do any good to keep harping over what you wish you had done better. you already know that. now it's just about moving forward from here and making the best of it and hoping you can make something of it. it's the easiest thing in the world to look at where Bryce falls short...and yes, that was intentional. everyone knows that and all that is done is beating that horse laying on the ground. what takes some work is trying to see how it can work and if they have done and are doing things to help the situation get better.
