Well damn.  I have a cousin in Germany that would host me if I came over for the game.  Unfortunately, I'm already taking 3 weeks off for a Hawaiian/French Polynesians cruise in the fall and wouldn't be able to swing both.

The London trip was great and the game was icing but not the reason to go or not go. We made a side trip to Paris one day so it was awesome. I am going to Munich and likely doing a sidetrip to the Netherlands or maybe Iceland to see the northern lights. I went to London with the Roaring Riot and they were great hosts. I saw lots of the sights and had a great time. Going to Munich with them as well.

London wasn't close to that but you are right the Superbowl cost me every bit of that. Great memories though even if we lost.

As a fellow European. This is actually the first, and possibly only, thing to feel good about for the upcoming season.

And don't worry about the quality of the game, we are starved enough for real football to enjoy a game between this years Panters and the 76 Bucs. Plus the beer helps

If you have the means to travel then the game is secondary to the overall trip.

 This could be at the tail end of Oktoberfest which could be cool too

Oktoberfest ends 10/6. Germany games have all been in November. Munich isn’t capable of handling those two events at the same time
