Vrabel, although I think that he may be good in theory, is 54-45. I don't know that he's the best option.

How do y'all know he isn't just going to be another Rivera or Fox?

If you look over the talent, he fought way above his weight class. Thats a rare trait these days.

I mean Id non-stop run the ball with a prime henry too, could not care less what the insighters/podcasters said.

Both Ive cooled on him, still want that young offense leadership. I guess frank smith is the pick.

How can you exclude Harbaugh? C'mon', man.

He wasn't. I had him going to the Chargers (the team he's been most linked to).

IF Harbaugh stays at Michigan, I could see Vrabel being the consolation prize for the Chargers.

Since I feel Ben Jonson won't be attainable, I'll go with Frank Smith

Helped turn around a culture around in Miami as part of a record setting NFL offensive staff. He's also part of that McVay, Shanahan, Mcdaniel tree and I wants me some of that. Comes off a a leader and just read a poll that he was voted the most liked coordinator in the NFL as a cherry on top

And before any says he didn't call plays, neither did McDaniel in San Fran

Honestly, nobody really excites me. I'm sure some of those guys would be good...maybe even great.

I just don't see us having any success for a while now matter who we get and, knowing our track record, the bar is set high for mediocre.

And I know if 8 let myself get excited about someone, they've been a disappointment.

So I'm just along for the ride. If we win, great. If we don't....well I'm used to it.

    • If the trade value is reasonable, he would be a solid option. You wouldn't be on the hook for a big salary increase until 2027. At that point, he is easy to jettison if it didn't work out. I just don't think he is going to be cheap and I don't think we are going to be a team that bids highly enough for his services in a trade scenario.  Him being cut(highly unlikely) is even worse. Now you gotta outbid everyone in the NFL. That's even worse.
    • I would love to not see Florida in the playoffs. Frankly, I don't want to see any elite goalies. That seems to be our kryptonite.
    • There is always  Bro we have eyes. They saw Sunday and they saw just one week before.  GWD is a weak stat to base a player grade on it should really be a team thing.  But at any rate we can all see how the QB plays each week. I don’t know why we even need stats at all to be honest. At least for these evaluation purposes. I mean, in GWD you have to look under the hood to make sure you aren’t getting sold a bill of goods.  They are fine for keeping records of yards and completions and points given and allowed and fumbles and so on.  For defense yardage is a bad indicator of rank for instance.  You can build a nice looking house of cards on yards allowed; if you play from ahead you are likely to give up more air yards than rushing. The farther ahead, the more air yards. For one instance. So what it it telling you? Not that you have a bad pass d all the time.
