He was literally one of the best QBs in college ever.  The traits are there and he is a flat leader.  My question is why in the world would you think he can’t be great?  He has been great.  We have to help him be what he is in the toughest league in the world.

He is 22.  You seriously believe this is on him and he sucks?  Jesus

Yes because this has just guaranteed success forever great college qb coming into the league.

There is no need to be rude I was being polite and really wanted to know.

Coming out I thought he had the potential to be great, I want him to be great bc if he is, we win.

He doesn’t need to be fixed…stop with the false dilemma bullshet.  He is great we have to allow him to be what he is

Great at what? In the NFL that is.

What he was this year was a bad QB who didn't look like he belonged on an NFL field. This ain't college anymore. Lots of great college players fail to translate to the NFL level.

What traits are there? Exactly what did he show on an NFL field that makes you think that the traits are there at the NFL level? What he did in college no longer matters at all for a Panthers fan. It's completely irrelevant now that we have 16 NFL games to go off of.

    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
