Did the panthers lose on the CMC trade?

Recommended Posts

We lost the trade because of Tepper. When you have no plan to build anything and act like an infuriated toddler that can't have his way, a player like CMC is wasted. I'm happy for him that he gets to play meaningful football while Panther fans get another year of Dave and Nicole playing cosplay GMs.

It’s not his success in SF that makes us lose the trade. It’s the Panther’s inability to turn the capital we got from the trade into something positive that makes us lose

I’m happy for CMC the person and player.  Panthers are a mess right now ans I’m glad a special player is able to go somewhere and succeed.  If we trade Burns or any other player to a contender I will wish him well and good health.
Also hope his team performs good as long as it’s not the Cowboys or in the division or maybe another team that I choose to hate on a given day but generally speaking I like it when these young guys go elsewhere and succeed.

CMC did want to be here. He was shocked that we wanted to trade him.

CMC is the son of a former NFL player and an absolute master at saying the right things on camera. He had missed the majority of the previous two seasons with “injuries” that at times seemed a little questionable. Hasn’t missed any time since he was traded! What a coincidence.

He also ended up playing for his dad’s former head coaches son, who freaking babysat for him while he was growing up. It’s too perfect for him. And I’m sure CMC’s instagram girlfriend hated Charlotte.

He's a west coast kid his family is a west coast family his father has deep ties to the area.

He's where he wanted to be.

Ya'll need to accept it.

We had artificial surface and CMC was often injured.  He will be 28 next season-RBs, historically, peak at 27.  So he was not going to make a difference here as long as Tepper and his clown show are calling shots.  SF got a great deal, we got some picks that were like giving $ to a teenager at the fair--gone in 30 minutes.

This is true, but he still didn't want to leave Charlotte. All anyone has to do is their research. Sure, he wanted to go to San Fran after learning that we were shopping him, but he was taken aback that we would even trade him at all. Those are the facts!

As far as accepting it, I don't care one way or another. Just like Pejorative Miscreant said, we fuged up on our end irrespective of CMC. I'm glad for him and wish him all the luck...except when he plays us.
