Brown is clearly a ‘dawg’, ‘the dawg’ on that defense.  I didn’t know if you were suggesting that Luvu doesn’t rise to that category or were just focusing on Brown as heads and shoulders above everyone else.

I was focusing more on Brown. Luvu should be retained because he has a bit of that dog in him as well.  I would hope Dan sees it the same way.

Bryce is a dawg if you ask me.

Sometimes I wish that he would've went away from what the coaches were asking him to do (like chuck it up there on 3rd and long instead of screens.)

With that said, Bryce absolutely has it in him, he's a pretty polite one. But the way he mentally stayed even keel, and took hits each week. He's earned that if nothing else.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
