Mac Jones just got traded to the Jags. Off topic but still interesting.

LMAO welcome to the backup life. I will always remember his draft day walk. I thought that kid was going to be the next Brady the way he was walking up to the stage.

Not the most glamorous but its probably one of the best jobs in football. If he plays competent in spot duty  he’ll likely have a very good income stream for several years and stand a real good chance to walk away from an NFL career when it’s over instead of limp.  There are worse fates.

But they told me non contending teams shouldn't spend big money in FA?

Fug outta here! Go big or go home!

We lack the offensive talent to field a competitive offense.  We have to spend some money on some B and C tier players.  If we are trying to grow/salvage a young QB….we got no choice but to spend some on O

That's been my point the entire time!

People are so focused on not being contenders. The point is you need to start signing some type of elite talent. A true #1 WR will help Bryce even if we don't believe in him. If he can't improve after we spent money on weapons then we move on.

I'm 34 this wait and save money approach gets old after a while. Saving money gets you what you see now a bad product.

Anybody who thinks adding a true #1 WR hurts us is sadly mistaken. Moore was still productive even without a QB.
