I've said all along that our line has to be stellar for Young to succeed.

Hopefully, this is in the right direction.

everyone and their mom is playing too much madden. The one game bryce had time to do stuff and not throw it in the dirt constantly against green bay, the receivers got open. Can worry about playmakers later, the opportunity needs to arise to see what we got out there.

We dont need to have the money until Wednesday @ 4pm. Look for a Moton extension/restructure, creates the most cap space the easiest at a premium position with an elite player and leader, only downside is his age.

Yeah $6.5M there - and possibly another $4.5M if we cut Christensen which I hope we don't

so is morgan already backloading deals? how much did the von bell release free up? these were neck and neck on announcement. If he's legit, plug him in at left guard unless they're going to make him the center, but man, draft a center at 33, put this guy on the left, brady on the right, this can help a lot.

We just droppin Austin Corbett?

The salary cap is more of a suggestion.  This is our first mega deal from Brad Tillis.  We'll see how it works out for us.

Looking at the money going to guards, the cash was only going up.  Sometimes, you just have to pay the market rate.  Hopefully this is the kind of injection our OL needs to shore up.

This is awesome and exactly what I'd hope we'd do. We are putting Bryce in best situation we can this year so we know next Jan if he is our guy or not. If he is, we have some really good cap figures in 2025 to try and make a splash. Like what FO has done so far

Who??

probably somewhat similar to a Derrick Brown of the OG world.  He isn't a household name but has been playing like one of the better dudes in the league.

62 guaranteed is a lot though.  But Carolina is only getting dawgs if they overpay at this stage.

So is he staying on the right side or moving to the left?  What are we doing with Corbett if this dude stays on the right side?

Hunt is better than Corbett has ever been in his career, much less the sorry version we seen of him last season.

    • Yuck.  I still kind of like Herbert but these playoff performances are rough....
    • I feel like this was the case with River and McDermott defenses as well, we just had the jimmies and the joes to overcome these deficiencies with all pro players at edge and linebacker positions.  Even then, was extremely frustrated in 2015 when we'd let team come back from 20+ pt deficits playing prevent only to barely win at the end.
    • We need to move on soon and just use Bryce as a bridge to find our next guy. I'd like to see how this offense works with Canales hand picking his own guy. Bryce holds this offense back a lot considering you draft the first pick to carry your team and be your best player. We invested heavily for Bryce and need everything to go right just to have him look like a solid game manager sometimes. When he plays well he can look decent or mid, but when he plays bad he looks like a bottom 5 qb in league (backups included). It's not worth it, especially if we need to pay him soon, which means we have to skimp all over the roster. If the defenses don't hand it to us on a silver platter Atlanta style then we struggle big time. Defenses don't respect the offense at all. With Cam we could have the worst offensive talent and I'd still think we had a shot in any game we played. If Bryce is facing a 3rd and 10 I pretty much wave the white flag and don't think we can make that first down.
