Evero is somewhere punching a wall...

In a week ...he's lost 4 of his 11 starters... 3 ex team Captains at that.

Yea.... this isn't over... we HAVE to have some moves coming down the pipeline.

Smdh... There were only 2 players on this defense that you don't let walk..and we just let 1.

And now imagine what Derrick Brown is thinking looking at the players left around him.

Or he's thinking about how much leverage he has for a mega contract as the team has no one else worth paying at anytime in the near future.

Walker Percy once wrote: "Losing hope is not so bad. There's something worse: losing hope and hiding it from yourself." I'm tired of hiding it. "Panthers gonna Panther" is truer than ever. What did Tepper do after one of the worst seasons in Panther history?  He hired a coach with no head coaching experience and a GM who had never run the show himself. In one of the first days of free agency this genius trades the best available free agent according to The Athletic for what amounts to a bag of magic beans, and then vastly overpays for a guard. I thought we were going to move all of our failed tackles to guard. Luvu couldn't leave town fast enough. I guess he couldn't play guard.

    • All good solids points. I think after the RB and LB, is kicker the next spot among "Legacy" panther spot?? Kasay, gano, butkler, Eddie(best all-time %), Slye, Lloyd the touch back god, Mare, lols.....  Fitz...*right now* feels a combo of all the best panther ones. With the new rules, Fitz is either first or second in starting field position form KOs. He's a weapon and ten yards do matter.
    • "Plays well" vs "near historic performance" are pretty different things. It's important to keep in mind the Cowboys passing defense is league worst and their run defense is nearly so, for sure. But one of those two players vastly outperformed what most other players have done versus the Cowboys and the other had fewer yards than typical (but still played very well imo, and did all we needed him to). Rico pretty much doubled up virtually every other single back that has played the Cowboys.  So yeah I get why people would be surprised that Rico is so far down the list of O players.
    • Trevin and Rozeboom remind me (obviously at a smaller scale) of when they had Beason as the mic and Luke beside him. Luke looked very average and was out of position a lot until he swapped to mic. REALLY hoping this is another case of that. Just on eye test alone that swap has been a night and day difference.
