Hope for TMJ?

I'm with you on this one. You can't make a determination on ANYONE on offense from last year, it was just a JUCO level coaching and roster management effort. Before last year he flashed a few times but again, joke of a coaching staff (but not as bad as whatever Reich was doing).

I don't expect anything elite from TMJ, but he 100% can be a Josh Reynolds type of player. Not a massive impact guy, but can get you 500-700 yards a year and help stretch the defense a bit. If he turns into someone that opposing d coordinators have to at least consider and plan for which opens up the defense a bit... catch a few long balls a year and give us 500 yards and lets call it a day.

fwiw, i just looked at one of his draft profiles and thought it talked about what we have seen...

Quote

For all of his talent, Marshall seemed disinterested at times in 2020 and wasn't always committed to finishing his routes or running them with consistent intensity. There are traits and talent at his disposal, but the difference between becoming a WR2 and a WR3/4 could be determined by how hard he's willing to work at his craft.

essentially, he hasn't been known to be a dawg.

I believe that he has kind of mentally checked out.

Constant revolving door with the coaching staff.

Being buried on the depth chart at times when it made little since for him to be so.

Revolving door at the QB position, which hurts EVERY receiver that isn't the top target.

I'm not holding onto hope that he turns it around here. I do believe he has the talent to be more successful in this league.  It may very well end up being with a different team.

Our current head coach is considered a receivers genius.   Perhaps this staff, with a true commitment from TMJ himself, can see him improve this season.

TMJ aka That Man A Joke!

Bryce was a joke. Theilen bailed him out time after time by just running hot routes to empty space like a 9 year old in Madden.

i think it's awesome that we have such personnel experts in here.

Hey now, I didn't even bother stating the fact that most receivers need 3 years to truly develop in the NFL...

and the only thing I'm an expert of is how to make a fool of myself. In my defense, it has been a long time since I've done so. God says there is still hope for me!! 🤣🤣

Yeah I don’t know how you evaluate anyone with Bryce Young running their offense.

I say ease up on thinking we need to totally replace the WR corp with this knee jerk they can’t get open because it is not college open.

Get another one in the draft and throw them all out there, see who rises up to the top.

Basing whether or not a player is proficient at WR off of targets (or catch percentage) is not going to fly.

I don't know what's going to happen with any of our receivers. I just know that we need to draft one or two that will add dynamicism to the room. TMJ and Mingo, still young and impressionable, have been unlucky enough to be drafted into varying degrees of a clusterfug, Thielen is on the wrong side of thirty, and Johnson is a wildcard with a history of being a malcontent.

This place hates you sometimes.  For the record.  So you are suggesting that, since you think a 23-year old football player coming off a bad season in which he played 9 games is a joke.  I never claimed that he was the second coming, but your response seems to suggest that someone has dared to contradict one of your unsupported opinions.  Tell me, did you read this at all?  Do you see where anyone is saying he will be good or great?  Since nobody said that, why do you feel the need to jump in and talking about what you hate ?  Are we supposed to give a shiit?  Learn to think critically and respond maturely.  this ain't middle school, and you will see that when you get there.

Bro you are a sad person.

I don't usually take things personal, but just to show you how sad you are.

My last profile visitor @CarolinaWillRise

Who poos my post every day @CarolinaWillRise

Who goes into a thread and instead of talking about the topic he talks about a poster @CarolinaWillRise

Who has multiple accounts and does the same poo emojis crap he's always done @CarolinaWillRise

So for you to call me a clown, yet give me so much attention on a daily basis says more about you then me.

I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it's clear you are a childish individual. Instead of putting me on ignore you torture me with your emojis every single day. Now that my friend is a CLOWN!

Is dynamicism a real word?
