It seems Brandt Tilis has stopped the insane restructuring for a 5 win team.

I haven't looked but I think Moton is the 8th highest non-QB cap hit in the whole NFL, gooooo panthers!!!!

I think he should take a pay cut.......but that's tilis job now..

You can't without restructuring it into an extension, for the 3rd time. Just let it die the death it should have and start over with a new cheaper short term contract next year.

I did not realize his cap number for this season was so high.  Hes basically handcuffing the team at almost $30 million this season.  What are the options, restructure?  Extension? Trade?  Is he worth $30 million?

How have we been handcuffed? We signed a bunch of FA and locked up DB. What more would you have done?

A paycut? That would just ultimately create another hole, and possibly a hole that takes seasons to fill with a player that's comparable. Perhaps we can sign him to something more reasonable next season. He's now the 15th highest paid OT. Keep in mind that he only allowed one sack last season.

30 Mil......

Damn!.

How much $$ do we have tied up across that entire line?

I will say Him and Hunt next to each other is VERY stout. If only I had as much confidence in Corbett at Center, we'd have brickwall infront of Bryce.

Idunno how much cap space we have left but I figured they we're waiting to see if Gilmore will sign back for a couple years before they went moving money again.

I also think we have our eyes on a tackle in the draft. I wish it were center but hopefully Corbett is more Ryan Kalil than Tyler Larsen/Greg Van Roten.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
