most those teams were already stacked and trying to get over the hump, making those high RBs luxury picks. Panthers don’t have that luxury and still have a ton of holes to fill. This pick addresses none of those holes

Rb was a hole, even though everyone here was sucking off Chuba.

Taking a RB top ten isn’t how it’s done these days…but teams are still doing it. Taking the top RB in the second is not a problem.

We are the worst team in the NFL.  That factors for me.

if we were trying to get over the hump….someone mentioned teams like Buffalo, SF, etc investing in a RB.  I think it changes things if you are in a position to just find a missing piece to a puzzle almost put together

plus he just blew his knee out.  Don’t even know if he will be ready come camp time.  That’s just not going to get people that aren’t big on RBs early to change that mindset just because Carolina did it l.  Think in this particular draft….3rd round was the earliest I would entertain RBs and that’s early.  So I’m just staying true to what I said leading up to the draft

I forgot to add who I think that we will take (can't edit my post).  Now, this is the negative side of me based on the history of this franchise.

#33 Legette

#39 Sainristil

#65 Brooks/Benson

Like I said, good thing Saniristil got picked or I would have crushed my Panthers suck at drafting list.

🤷‍♂️ I’m just saying, I get the argument to not take a RB top half of the 1st. Taking one in the second isn’t a problem, especially when you’ve addressed most of your other needs and need to put weapons around your flailing young QB

U just refuse to hear that RB is easy to find late or in FA. So let’s agree to disagree I suppose

Okay right now not half way through the season pick one RB that goes 5th or later UDFA that immediately has a breakout season.... I'll wait we can hold the receipt.

Especially when you picked up a future second and RB was the plan all along.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
