Roster cuts

Shows you how fuging ass CJ Henderson was, if you didn't know already...  we traded a fuging second rounder for him, started him for 2 years, finally let him go elsewhere and he gets cut before the regular season.  This front office really poo the bed, and for a long, long time.

When fuging fans can see the poo from a mile away and the fuging experts still trot that poo out there FOR YEARS???  Wtf is really going on???

You mean sifting through the Jacksonville Jaguars rejects wasn't a foolproof approach to building a contender?

shocked no way GIF

Vision is much more important than speed--rarely is a back at full speed if you think about it.  I remember reading about Franco Harris' backfield mate at Penn State-Lydell Mitchell.  He was a star for the Colts for several years.  He reportedly ran (this was 50 years ago) a 5.0 flat 40 yard dash.  We have faster offensive tackles now.

vision and quickness. Lateral and stop/start quickness is more important for consistency at the position.

It wasn't a second, it was a 3rd and Dan Arnold.

Fitterer wasn't gonna do anything with that pick so he got his money's worth with that worthless trade.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
