Sure, if they had comparable talent they wouldn’t have lost any games. They had a cupcake schedule. Putting Arizona State in the playoff over teams like Alabama or Miami is a joke.

maybe they could of given Miami Tenn’s spot.  Tenn has been the most clowned team in the CFP so far.  THAT was an at large spot the committee could have done what they wanted with.

Don’t see the point of complaining about conference champs outside of seeding.  The committee is not choosing them or giving them a spot.

If ASU had comparable on the line talent to Tex…I might like them in this game.  If Boise State had comparable talent I the lines to Penn St I think they would have won.   Deion Sanders was right about one thing. It’s the lines.  That’s the difference.

QBs in a vacuum? Lot of the favorites got overrated dudes.

It's always been the biggest difference between the elites and all the rest in the college game. The blue chip programs are just dominant in the trenches.

Why on earth is Arizona St talking trash? They are getting beat but every play, I see one of their players jawing. I mean, who do they think they are? Yea that 3 point win against Texas State is definitely something to be proud of.

Game over.

I would like to have ghat kid Scaterbo or however you spell. He doesn't give and it takes 5 guys to bring him down.

He’d be a good short yardage back for sure. Mike Alstott style. He’s “vomiting profusely” on the sideline right now though

Kinda reminded me of Tolbert. A quick read says fumbles are a concern as is the workload he's been getting.

    • There are similarities between the two in terms of trying to develop a raw passer. Allen's best season in college was with 56% completion. But unfortunately for AR he was even more raw and has apparently been pretty full of himself thinking he already arrived. And also the coaches were too willing to use him as a runner. All in all another example of ultimately squandering talent. All too common in this league.
    • Remember that Khalil Mack was traded for 2 firsts and some change at the end of his rookie deal to the Bears. The Bears ultimately won the trade as Mack was a continuous PB/AP player and the Raiders squandered all the draft capital on players worth far less.  It's dumb to turn down that kind of haul, but it's definitely not hard to completely squander.
    • I do also want to point out that people STILL believe in Justin Fields despite the unbelievable amount of evidence he is completely incapable of being more than a gimmick, run first, check down QB.  It is flabbergasting the amount of chances some of these busts get.
