It 100% was, he ran a 3.97 at his pro day.

In reference to pass uses of shuttle times. This article details how Edelman’s shuttle got him drafted in the first place. A guy who was completely off the radar in college got drafted simply because of his elite shuttle time. Ladd’s definitely played a role in his draft stock boost.

You love bringing up guys after the fact that did such and such. Tell us tonight who will be a stat guy after next draft.  Don’t show up next time this year talking about some stud you loved.

Miami HC addressing how they came to Cam Ward not playing in the 2nd half….”I’ll prefer not to answer that question as it relates to that”…..

so let’s at least put to bed that the coaches just had to see what their backup QB had in him in the midst of a shootout.  Because that’s an easy answer for a coach.   But he couldn’t say it.    Cam got his and took himself out.

The Miami coach is a douche bag so there is that

There’s the obvious guys like Hunter and T-Mac who everyone likes. They are safe picks. I’m not exactly sure how safe Hunter is though because I feel like he’ll be a DB. T-Mac, he reminds me of Michael Pittman. Just a safe WR who catches the ball when it’s thrown to him.

Under the radar picks? Emeka Egbuka. If you want to go deeper than that, Tez Johnson. If you want a favorite player in the draft, Tyler Warren.

Warren is a great call out love that guy.  Tez is small but explosive, good call.  Not a huge Egbuka fan but fine.  Nice picks regardless.  Bravo man.

I will say we are 100% in agreement with Hunter. I’m still not even sure he’s a WR. You mentioned the size. It screams CB but maybe that’s just me.

I'd like to take a flyer on Savion Williams

Additionally, saying a receiver is or isn’t good because of their QB play is such a lazy argument. McConkey is elite at creating separation. Just a few weeks ago PFF had him as their leader in created separation for the week.

Does he have prior injury concerns, sure. But there’s a difference between drafting a wide receiver with an injury history verses signing a wide receiver with an injury history. The main difference being the money.

It helped but he was already climbing. He was the guy I wanted and I remember coming down the stretch I didn't think he'd be there. Then he was and we picked the guy I absolutely didn't want. You don't pick raw older guys who never did anything until their super senior year high in the draft. It's just a huge red flag. Different story if he was a 20 year old RS sophomore.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
