Tua is the worst kind of QB you can have.  He's good enough to where you really don't want to move on from him because you could easily do worse, but he's also not very good at all.  QB Purgatory.  At least Bryce is bad enough to get us the No. 1 Overall Pick.  Dolphins will always be a middle-of-the-road team with Tua.

And that is why people wanted to see Bryce suck. Not because they hate him personally.

Because it looks like mediocre is his ceiling and we would  likely be paying even more than Tua’s deal by the time it comes due… 70 mil per year or something for a mediocre QB? Do not sign me up.

I was in the Stroud camp, but once Bryce was announced the pick I started pulling for the kid to make it, and still do.  If Stroud had been the pick, last years O-line might have ruined him, and Bryce might be setting the league on fire in Houston.  After this season we should have a pretty good idea what we have at QB.

People act like Stroud had an all star o line.  Bryce creates alit of the pressures he gets by drifting back.  It was a problem last year and so far its still a problem

TBH, This fan base does deserve Bryce after all the Cam bashing that was done even when he was the only one giving a damn.

Most of those ignorant people already jumped ship and are long gone now. Many of the people left here were big Cam supporters. Nobody deserves this mess created by David Tepper.

    • That's usually the narrative when there aren't highly touted QBs or DEs. Off ball LB is the position this year. And there are some really good prospects. WRs are deep too. No generational level guys but very deep with solid options.  I would target CJ Allen in the 1st. I want a real ILB. Not a pass rusher that can move back. Not a safety that can move up. He's smart, tough, instinctive and durable. Dude had surgery on his meniscus and missed one game. One game. And... he's only played LB. Watching him control guards with his hands andsift through the garbage to get to the ball is refreshing. That's my guy in the 1st.
    • It’s always a weak draft, next year is always better according to the draftniks. This is a weak draft for QB, WR, and TE. Theres only a few true LT. RB and DB are average. It’s a good class for the rest of the Oline, Dline, Edge, and LB.
    • there is only a handful of blue chippers (Reece, Styles, Downs, Love, Bain) but overall its a pretty deep draft with solid players.  Really deep on the defensive side particularly lb's so that is in our favor.  Thats why I have been saying if styles is not there at 19 (he wont be) then try to pull a Rams/Falcons type deal and get another 2nd and first for next year.  IMO there really isnt much difference in quality of players at the back half of the first into the 2nd
