Yeah, for this team with this roster to trade up to draft a RB with a torn ACL in the 2nd round... yeah, this dude better be the second coming of Marshall Faulk.

But remember it isn't like we had any other options. You know, other than the 5th leading rusher in the NFL currently.

Kudos to him for being the first GM in history, in my memory at least, to attempt to address the O-line problem. I would assume he would continue to work on the O-line and focus on the D-line next offseason.

Gettleman tried but failed miserably. Never forget Kalil 2.0.

We also have one of the most expensive OL’s.

With Corbett and Christen being FA’s this offseason and Moton being on the older side we’re about to be in another pickle. All while have two very expensive guards

Like that Brooks pick was so f*cking stupid.

Yeah we could have drafted Frazier but no lets get an injured RB3

I will say this about Brooks. Let's not annihilate the kid on 2024 play when he does finally recover. He honestly should be generally expected to struggle given the situation.

Now 2025? Bruh......you better be looking like Tomlinson.

Yeah he's a finesse RB to me, that don't work without a top O-line. I know he's a little bigger than some guys but even healthy I haven't seen him really punish guys on contact

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
