I strongly dislike this draft. I don’t think a single player would crack the top-12 in the 2024 class

As things stand with the games that have been played, think these chumps would go Mason Graham.

I’d personally have no idea. I like Tmac, Sanders and Nuss but don’t think many are worth it.

This franchise is in such a gutter. Just terrible.

I will take Tmac since Sanders daddy will think he is too damn cool for us and will in my opinion just meddle his ass off anyhow. Only problem with Tmac is we need someone who can throw him the damn ball. We have waterboy and clipboard holder covered with Bryce so at least we don't need one of those.

At this point, behind this line, I’d be okay getting Stidham/Rush/Lock to just play gunslinger ball. I’m probably not looking at it right but we suck and there’s limited options.

We’ll lose a lot but they could probably produce some moments behind this line a potential star at WR. I just really don’t know about this QB class and I usually can get excited for at least a few every year. Feel the ick with this entire top of the first.

Or maybe just roll the dice in the 2nd if value aligns.

Fvck I hate this team.

Yeah I would take a fearless gunslinger like that just to throw it around. If you have some decent WR's, they will capitalize on QB's like that with that mentality. How about trying to acquire Sam Howell or Jamis Winston? Could be fun with one of those guys throwing it around. In that case let's draft Tmac and get us a gunslinger, I like your thoughts process here. We are going to lose for a couple seasons so why not make it fun to watch anyhow

Hunter and Tmac both elite and game changing type players.

Throw in Sanders/Ward at the QB position and it's not as bad you think. I would say anything outside of the top 4 would be a huge disappointment for us.

That is my take, just get an elite player. IDGAF about position. We have no position that is off the table.

The clear favorites currently for #1 pick right now:

- Shedeur Sanders QB

- Travis Hunter CB/WR

- Cam Ward QB

-- As of now there doesn't seem to be a Myles Garrett/Nick Bosa DE.

-- Will Johnson CB and Mason Graham DT both from Michigan are extremely solid blue chippers, maybe not #1 pick but top 5 caliber at least.

-- Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona may be the best WR, Mike Evans type. Strongly doubt he'd go top 5 though.

Yeah this hasn't budged for a couple weeks. There's no clear cut pass rusher so we should just go QB if one of those two are there, Ward my preference

Who will they pick? They'll pick Ward at 1 so that Cleveland doesn't pick him at 2. No one will call Deion's bluff.

That said, I kind of wish we would take Sanders. He can then sit until the last day of the 2025-26 league year where we can then trade him to LV or some other place Deion approves for a king's ransom and draft Arch #1 in '26 (we're a lock for #1 in '26).

This is the best option. Take Sanders #1 as he will probably be the #1 QB prospect. Take the best offer from whatever team wants him the most.

Definitely a weaker draft totally agree

    • I know it's only been training camp and one preseason game, but I think T-Mac has already shown his floor to be exactly what I said about him in the pre-draft process. That his floor if he never improves his game, is as one of the best #2 WRs in the NFL, if not even still a low end #1 (i.e. a 25th-ish best WR in the league). I think it's safe to say he's already established himself as our #1, and there are only a small handful of teams in the league where I don't think he'd be their starting #2 WR in Week 1. Bengals (Higgins), Dolphins (Waddle), Eagles (Smith), Bucs (Godwin if healthy), Rams (Adams) are really the only teams where I think he'd be the #3 as a rookie in Week 1.  A few others like the Lions (Williams), Bears (Odunze), Seahawks (Kupp), Commanders (Deebo), where he'd be the 2b to start the season, just because they're vets and/or already have a year or two of experience with their team/QB. And even having said that, I think by year 2, he's better than every one of those players (And no, I'm not saying he's already going to be better than a prime version of Adams, just whatever he'll be at 33 next year), and same goes for Kupp, but that's more because it seems like his body might be quitting on him in a way that hasn't happened to Adams (yet).
    • Well to be fair, Horn not practicing right now to let his stitches heal up from a car accident isn't something that should be concerning.  Sure, you don't want him missing practice leading into the season, but it's one that once healed, won't have lingering affects or fear of re-injuring it, it was just bad luck.
    • Quality backups are absolutely important. This franchise has been plagued with depth problems. That said, there is a little bit of dismay that Mays can't beat out a 1-legged man, and all the talk going into the off-season was how BC would certainly be gone since he had position versatility.  In the end, it doesn't matter too awfully much, as I would be shocked to no end if Corbett makes it through the season. We know what we have in reserve, and that should surely be better than trying to sign random fat guys mid season to try and take over.
