Of all the scenarios that could play out next season I think you folks need to consider the real possibility that the team rolls with Young one more season while they groom the qb they draft this year.

Maybe Weeks 1-3 or so. Not the entire season. Tepper wouldn't let Canales keep him out there that long.

I will never understand how that organization gave him $40M/year after a "breakout" season that saw him throw a grand total of 15 TD passes.

I'm not even sure Tepper would sign off on something that stupid.

He’d have given three different guys 20 mil in that time span. Now he gets Bryce and locks the position.

If you do that you have just thrown away another year same as this one. Chasing spilled milk.

I mean, we have a few fans trying to climb back on the Bryce wagon after we beat two other awful teams despite Bryce's third stringer level play. I sure hope Dave isn't among them.

Weird they went straight Italian, about the only reason is tank.

Panthers were hot after drew lock last year, loads changes, but I still thinks he ends up on Carolina.

Maybe lock told the giants he prefers his health over a fail showcase.

Bryce defenders: the stats don’t bear it out, but he’s clearly improving

announcers: his cadence sounds so much more confident. You can feel the game is slowing down for him

people actually paid to do this: you lost to him? Someone has to pay

Jones plays offense.

What is it that he giveth? Besides the blues.

Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?

Might as well declare this front office regime dead if that's the case.  There is no reason that should happen.

My perfect offseason at QB would be trade Bryce, sign Lock (experience with Canales) and draft Ewers in the second or late in the first

Ewers in the 2nd is my dream and its looking kindof likely if you believe mock drafts.  Not sure where the disrespect is coming from unless teams are scared of his injury history.  The kid has perfect mechanics, a great arm, can read defenses and seems to rise to the challenge when playing big games sans Georgia.

As far as lock goes he worked with DC for a year so who knows what he thinks of him

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
