Sick and tired of all of these excuses. Dude was a 1st round pick. He’s an NFL player. Catch the damn ball

He’s not playing well for sure but not every rookie comes into the NFL guns blazing. Bryce was the first overall pick and looked like he was prepping for a job selling car insurance before hitting the bench and turning his career around. These players need time to get up to NFL level before we crucify them.

AT is a stud what are you talking about

I don't think he's knocking AT. But he is on the backend of his career at this point. We've drafted two receivers in the 2nd round since 2021 (TMJ and Mingo) and one in the first (XL). None of those guys seem to have the ability (at least so far) to live up to their draft slot or even beat out AT for playing time if a GM had to make a roster decsion between them and AT. A 34 yr old possession receiver should not be the clear-cut best receiver on your team if it has been constructed right.

After this game I'd be all in on drafting Tetairoa McMillian if he's on the board when we pick and use the rest of the picks on filling our defensive holes.

Another year, another huddle draft I would take over ours.

Plenty wanted the likes of Ladd, Frazier, Sainristil, DeJean, etc.  Heck, Jerzhain Newton surprisingly fell who would have been solid on the DL.  It's too bad we're already chatting about this stuff but it's hard not to see some pretty alarming concerns with XL that were evident and advertised.

The issue is we aren't talking about route-running or things that do take time to develop at the NFL level.  If he simply couldn't separate, I would understand that is something that comes with time.  But we're talking about his hands.

He's gonna be 24 years old next year.  He was in college for 5 years.  There is a very legit possibility that improving his hands just isn't something in his future.  He's a body-catcher.

Lol what kind of post is this?

Nobody is "scapegoating" him.  He literally dropped a game-winning touchdown.

The team scored 16 total points and Legette has sucked like this all year. I didn't watch the game but while you want them to make plays, 16 ain't good enough if you don't want things to come down to the wire.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently).
