I know most of y'all want defense but currently at pick 4...

I think the front office has shown they want to surround bryce with the tools to succeed by trading away defensive(and offensive) pieces to put him in the best position to win. Your currently sitting at pick 4 with a real chance of the top 2 picks being QB and new England logically could go LT or Hunter coin flip.

If you are on the clock at 4 with a chance to grab a an elite peice for bryce, because let's face it he still doesn't have that. None of our current offensive options are number 1 options on any team. If you want to maximize Bryce I don't see how you go defense at this spot unless the pick is Hunter.

With hunter I think he is the only viable pick that can improve both sides of the ball in some fashion. No not  a full time starter on both but, you would be a fool to not sprinkle him in on which ever side that is not his main position.  I see the love for Graham and I like him but a run stopping defensive tackle in the top 4?  Unlikely.. the value just isn't there. He's a great player and if I'm picking between 6-10 he's in the cards.

We have seen if you want Jamar Chase, Nabers those type talents they go high... That's what Bryce needs to take the next step. I do love Abdul Carter if hunter goes Number 3 to New England.. but at pick 4 I think those are the only 2 options right now.

Hunter or Tmac for me.

Hunter and Horn DB tandem would be great and we still have Brown in the middle at DT. That's a solid foundation to start building this defense. Also Hunter is a playmaker if he gets a INT he's looking to score. He's gonna put points on he board for the defense.

Tmac he's quite simply the only real true #1 WR in this draft. If you can give Bryce that kind of weapon it takes the offense to another level.

Just go BPA with stop 5 pick.

I don't think that term really exists. Everything is weighted.. Say Sanders is on the board and is the boa you not going to take him.. or that tackle who is currently top 5.. you not going to take him. Everything is weighted to some degree to fill a gap.

That's it, if neither are there, trade down. I love Mason but not at 4, trade down to 8 and get an extra 4th rounder.

I'd take the tackle in a heartbeat if he grades that high

That trade down nets us at minimum and extra round 2 pick 4 spots in the first round hold a lot of value but yea I def like the thought of a trade down two 2nd round picks with Graham.

Hopefully free agency will set up round 1 for BPA. So depending how we go in free agency will dictate which direction we draft, but you have to get a DUDE in round 1. If we can get Hunter, he has to be used on both sides of the ball. So that can be designed plays on offense if he is our #1 CB and vice versa. There is only one true #1 WR And that can go a long way for Young going forward.

Either way you look at it we have to get a DUDE in round 1.

I mean how... Where does he play? You benching icky.. benching moton?  Offensive line is a strength right now. Best since 2008.. if you take a tackle at 4 it doesn't make us much better at all.

Let’s not get cute with this draft pick. Can you sit there right now and believe in our front office to get this right? as it stands now, if we hold the number four pick then we should just get who we want to get or whoever is the best available in that position.

Time and time again we have seen our team fail in the draft with getting it right. I like what we have done so far, but I still don’t have the confidence in them with this trade down proposal. They will find a way to screw it up.

    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
