Joe Bradys offense cost the Bills the game.

I think specifically, Joe Brady not figuring out the short yardage game.  I think the rest of it was fine.  KC clearly figured out the their short yardage play from the jump of that game.   Buffalo seemed so sure it was their own auto yard getter they had no adjustment in the back pocket.

almost feel like playcallers should just have the national broadcast running.  Romo from the jump was like yep, KC figured that out on film and made adjustment.

all that being said, I think the refs still tilted the final result to the KC more so than Brady costing them the game if I had to pick between the 2.

This was also the case for the vast majority of Brady's time with the Pats. When you're the face of the league, the calls go your way, no paying of refs required.

maybe its just an in the moment thing or better camera angles now so easier to see the terrible calls but I feel like Brady and the pats were always iffy calls and not every single game.  The chiefs I feel like the calls are blatantly bad calls that always go their way and always have a huge impact on the outcome of the game.  It could also just be in the current moment vs the past but I would love some website to do an analysis of not penalties called against each team but game changing penalties called that went far are against each team and directly impacted the final score.  Like the PI that keeps a drive going or the holding call that reverses a big scoring play.  Mainly it seems to be with the chiefs penalties that keep their drives going when otherwise they would stall.

The lack of play action was Buffalo's downfall. They were running all over the Chiefs for several drives, then the Chiefs adjusted and the Bills thought running it would just keep working. I didn't see a single play action play in the 2nd half, when it easily would've converted those 3rd and 4th and shorts that they got stuffed on. Also, on the final drive, they completely abandoned the run and called 4 straight passes, all telegraphed.

Joe Brady really did a great job with the Bills' O all year, but man he fell flat on his face when it mattered most. That said, Reid and Spags have made a million coaches look stupid over the years, as much as some may want to blame McDermott/Brady, Andy and his crew are just better and there really aren't many (any?) who can keep up with them.

Apologies if this was already brought up, but I just realized that the Bills-Chiefs game had the same score as SB 38. Like the Panthers, the Bills whiffed on two 2pt conversions. And like the Pats, the Chiefs converted on their only 2 pointer. And now I'm depressed, just from thinking about it.

Well you can count on Chiefs winning since there are multiple reports of Kelce and Swift wanting to get married. The NFL will make sure the Chiefs will win and then Kelce proposes on the podium.

You do realize that would be the NFL's worst nightmare, right?

If KC wins and 3-peats, that's major league history and sparks a sincere debate of Mahomes vs Brady for GOAT already.

If Kelce were to propose on the podium, it would be the only thing anyone is talking about, it would overshadow one of the biggest moments in NFL history.  Beyond the NFL not wanting that, Kelce is too good of a guy and teammate to do that to the rest of the Chiefs, he's not dumb, he'd know how much it would overshadow what they did on the field.

Brady`s spygate is overlooked, helping him to 3 Super Bowls. This wont hurt the Chiefs.

I don’t mean from a history standpoint, but from an immediate news standpoint.

It would be a viral moment that would 100% take the immediate attention away from the 3-Peat, the league wouldn’t want it and Kelce wouldn’t do that to his teammates.

I also don't really get the feeling that's what he and Swift would want, either, and you're absolutely right he wouldn't want to take away from his teammates.

Personally I would love it. I have a parlay that KC wins the SB. TK wins MVP and he proposes to TS during the MVP presentation. I took it out at the beginning of the season. I swear they will let you bet on anything.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
