all I know is the couple clips of the Jags new HC.....man does he come off poorly.

Well, Trevor...you will always be a Clemson GOAT/college footbal GOAT.   You at least have that.  This dude ain't saving your floundering NFL career.

Trevor is one of those guys that would probably have a resurgence like Darnold did in Minn. I still don't know what to make of him because Jax coaching has been so bad.

True. And I mean, Lawrence hasn't been BAD like Darnold was. He's just been blandly meh.

If there was ever a QB who could be rescued by the right coaching and situation, it's Lawrence.

Nick Sirianni looked like an idiot in his first press conference.

The issue was the "generational talent" horseshit that kept getting thrown at him while he really never truly played that way even in college.

Want the future example? Arch Manning.

So he is supposed to be better than Archie, Eli and Peyton combined yet someone he can't beat out a 3rd-5th round NFL career projected backup.

He was damn good in college and checked all the prototype boxes but I never bought into him being the next Andrew Luck type prospect like he was hyped.

We'll see what Arch does but yeah, not beating out Ewers isn't a good look. I get it as a true freshman but as a sophomore? If he was what he's hyped as that should've been a done deal.

Trevor had the generational resume though.  3 seasons, 3 undefeated regular seasons.  Only 2 Ls that came in the playoffs.  And he checked every physical box.

but he wasn’t as good as Watson at Clemson.

    • I think we are looking at the same stats, I think you just have pro-Bryce goggles on.  That seems to be pretty clear by the post history, anyway.  Not really sure how or why anyone would still be in that camp, but carry on.
    • I would argue their play during their respective seasons was elite, and they elevated those around them.  Regardless of what they became after that moment.
    • Right team, wrong year and player. Since the 2003 season, there are only 2 SB winning QB's who won't end up in the HOF (Hurts not included as I think that's still up in the air), would be Flacco and Foles. The next worst QB to win in that time frame would be Eli, followed by Wilson, and then Big Ben. The other SB winning QB's since then... Brady, Mahomes, Stafford, Peyton, Rodgers, Brees... basically some of the best to ever play the game and Stafford, a surefire HOFer after winning his SB. You have to go back to the 2002 season to find a truly average QB to have won the SB with Brad Johnson and then 2 years before that with Dilfer.  Before that, you have to go all the way back to the 1991 season when the Redskins won, everyone else between there are HOFers.
