I Think Ashton Jeanty will be the Pick at #8

JFC, what is wrong with the Huddle. Someone says Hurney drafted CMC and there is no correction? Our last good draft in 2017 was Gettleman drafting CMC, Samuel, Moton and Butker. Marty took over after the draft.

All I know is that we have been so bad at drafting from 2018 to 2024 that people can’t even remember what we did in 2017 and before.

All that said, I 100% promise to move my fandom if we take Jeanty at 8.

I wouldn’t dismiss this as a possibility. Jeanty is going to be a special one and if he’s BPA at #8, in a deep defensive draft and multiple picks in the later rounds, I think this is an option they’d have to consider at least.

you stayed through Bryce's all time disaster debut, the Frank disaster, the Rhule disaster, the Jimmy Clausen era, etc.  Maybe you are old enough to of lived through the Weinke era or us being so inept DeAngelo Williams basically played QB in a game. 

 I do not believe Jeanty would break you.  You were born in the darkness, molded by it.

majority have disliked a lot of our best first round picks in real time.   

I want D.  I want an all D draft.  That said, a Jeanty or a Warren would help the O and Bryce.  

Morgan has addressed his vision was for the D to be fixed like the OL was fixed.  Which means, if he fixes the D with FAs I will give him more leeway in going O in the draft.

Doesn’t look like Jeanty is in our plans, and for good reason. I’m almost confident enough to bet my house on drafting a front 7 player if we stay at #8, but TMac could make it interesting.

If we're drafting a RB at #8 overall after both paying Chuba and trading up to draft a RB in the 2nd last year then the entire front office needs to get fired on the spot.
