Panthers will bring Tetairoa in for a visit

The Panthers have been linked to several defensive prospects regarding their top pick in next month’s draft. The team will look into at least one first-round receiver prospect as well, however.

Tetairoa McMillan has a top-30 visit lined up with Carolina, Joe Person of The Athletic reports. The Panthers have already drawn connections to South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori and Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams, and selecting either on Day 1 would not come as a surprise given their need to improve on defense. Without having made any receiver additions so far this offseason, though, drafting one could also be in play.

Dude will be a nightmare in NFL… amazing heads.  Catching everything with hands.  None of that bullshit body catching.

We'll see, they said the same thing about Legette last year.

When the ball is in the air, Legette brings it down consistently, posting just a 2.7 percent drop rate in 2023

Legette caught passes with strong hands even when he was covered.

Legette was as sure-handed a prospect as there is in this draft.

Solid hands that stick out on film.

Legette excels at attacking the football and snapping the ball out of the air with his powerful hands.

  • Powerful hands create added catch security with or without contact.
  • Tremendous hands and catch radius makes him a very friendly target for the quarterback

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
