Bitter, lol!  Embarrassed is more like it.  This is purely a joke or a PR move to get publicity.  There's is zero chance this dude makes the roster.  Honestly, I doubt he'll even make it to camp.

This guy's gonna need race horse substances to gain at least 20 lbs of lean mass by camp.

You are assuming his weight is the same now as when he played basketball

This is not something I'd likely have high expectations for, but I'm not against this kind of experimentation at the bottom of the roster.

Now go draft Tyler Warren and Golden. You could run 13 personnel and go empty or line up heavy to run. You’d never have to huddle again.

forum would have to be changed to the Carolina NO HUDDLE….

33 hit me hard man.

This is not the first time that Carolina coach Dave Canales and general manager Dan Morgan have been a part of an experiment with a former basketball player. Both were in Seattle when the Seahawks signed former Western Kentucky basketball and football player George Fant (6-5, 315 pounds) to be a hybrid tackle/tight end. Fant has played seven seasons with Seattle, the New York Jets and the Houston Texans. Fant has been working with Granger and told the Panthers about him.

    • Who would bite? Maybe KC would take a shot at him? Their WRs look awful. I can't imagine anyone would give us much of anything. I'd rather replace him in the lineup with Coker and try him out as a gadget player poor man's Cordarelle Patterson before trading him for practically nothing which is likely what he'd fetch.
    • what. the.  fug.  was that call?  Rico Dowdle....I dont mind saying "fug it, we're running"....but you went with the guy who hasnt proven JACK poo here as opposed to the guy you paid to run the fuging ball?  I cannot believe the call and was one of the most bullshit calls of the game.
    • At the end of the day, I saw my team live up to the motto " Keep Pounding" and although we didn't get that magical comeback story legends are made from, it was at our grasp, and that right there is a feeling I didn't know could exist at half down by 24pts. So, ATL is a must win, or the season over. The time is now, take all the disrespect and get angry for god's sake Canales, learn from your mentor Carroll and go smash a whiteboard.
