It always feel the panthers get screwed out of everything.Just dont know what to say about our organization, We have had a 3 winning seasons out of 9 years. An they are still trying to do the same Bull.I really think they care about money then winning. Also not giving Harbaugh the little power that he wanted had to be he reason why he is not interested in our team. But Rivera will be the coach more then likely. 49ers are expected to have a head coach by Friday,More then likely Harbaugh is the Guy.

Eh, Harbaugh's looking for a Pete Carroll deal: $6.5+ mil/yr with control over personnel decisions. I would be wary of giving that kind of deal to a guy like Cowher and much more than wary to a college head coach with no coordinator experience. At least Carroll had previous NFL head coaching experience.

I'm thinking about the language that's been used when they said going after "top NFL assistants"...not specifically coordinators. This is why I think 2 people have some appeal for us: Keith Butler & Winston Moss. I hope we hear one of their two names in the near future

Otherwise, I'm still liking McDermott & definitely would not be mad with Rivera. I think we should all be a little more positive about this. Not getting Harbaugh has been a likely scenario from the beginning.

fyi, Ron Rivera is ALOT more aggressive than John Fox. So you would be wrong.

I'm not overly fussed about getting an offensive minded coach, I just want somebody that is aggressive and plays to win. I want half-time adjustments, even if we are winning. I want to be hated like the Pats for running up the score. Off the top of my head, the last time we won a meaningful game comfortable was against the Chiefs a few years ago when we shut them out.

If we go defensive minded again I want the HC to leave the offensive side of the ball to the OC and I want the OC to be an ex-QB or ex-WR coach. I'm happy to stick with a run-heavy offense but I want teams to atleast consider our passing game when they game-plan for us.
