Some good info here from the Athletic around prospects and how they are getting seen.

Edit: It’s keeping me from huffing into a paper bag re: Mykel at least.

The Kenneth Grant and Shemar Turner (not Stewart) notes were really interesting.  Seems like 2 guys that could go way higher than expected

McShay says Shedeur would be QB6/QB7 in last year's draft and while there is a lingering whispers about Sanders to the Giants at #3 that just won't go away, chances are he drops all the way to the 2nd round...past the Saints and even past the Steelers at #21.  Dart might even end up QB2 by the time it's all said and done.

He was fired by ESPN too

Kiper was there forever doing draft stuff for ESPN and let's say his record as a draft guru was spotty at best.

Definitely hit/miss. That shmuck was not getting the juice from league circles and did not have a real scouting network. He’s a personality (and characature at this point)

Some of the younger guys on the Athletic, Ringer and elsewhere tend to have sources and certain teams their close with…unsure who McShay’s closest sources are but he hits every now and again and tends to get some good AFC intel from what I can tell.

The thing I respect most about Mel Kiper is his unwavering commitment to his hairstyle.  It's reaching Hulk Hogan levels of ignoring hair loss.

We make probably  the most sense. The last bit of major names  stop around 8 names. Being that it's Sean Payton... id try to rob them blind and honestly... im wanting to move back more than reaching but ill root for whoever except Stewart lol

I've heard the same things and it's starting to trickle out to mock draft now right before the draft. I think he falls but I still think he goes to the saints in round 1 they just trade back later into the first before picking him up.

I'll add that it's a shame because if the saints take him, that offense becomes very explosive overnight. I like Sanders and have him rated around 11th overall and I don't think the gap between him and Ward is that big.

    • He’s been every bit as much of the problem as anyone else. You cant remove him from that fact, he is just as much part of the team and in THE most important position on the field. But this is the first season he’s seen any kind of continuity in his team and coaches. And he’s shown flashes here and there. But we do need more out of him going forward a lot more if we are going to be successful
    • Bryce isn’t great and super mid. But I think can be a game manager. What do we think is out there? Daniel Jones isn’t going anywher. Mac Jones? Zach Wilson? Pickett. I’m just not sure what’s out there that is much better without having to give up a ton of capital. Rather take one more step closer to contention with our early rounders next year with FS and LB help. Make this  place where dang they got a defense and a WR1 and solid RB room. I can win with that and want to be here
    • AR15 is if Justin Fields was fragile and his teammates hated him. No thanks. Ya'll think you hate watching Bryce Young? Wait until your QB can't even complete a 7 yard pass over the middle, which Fields and Richardson can't do. If the draft class was better, I could absolutely see the Titans moving on from Ward already if they got the #1 pick. But so far the college QB's haven't impressed enough. They'll have flashes, but then follow it up with a very meh game. Kyler is already done in Arizona, but he has a ridiculous contract and he's basically Bryce that likes to scramble, so no thanks. If Lawrence can't produce with that team in Jacksonville, what do you think he'll do here? He's tall Bryce who can throw deep but can't make the 4th down throws and crumbles in the red zone. No thanks. I do think Canales wants to move on from Bryce, his body language says so even in wins. He treated Bryce pretty odd this week and Bryce looked checked out in the Packers game. But unless they make another risky trade, its going to be slim pickings. Basically our hopes lie in hitting early in the draft with a Mateer, Nussmeier, Beck type or finding a random backup free agent that has another gear to hit.  I think even with the draft being wishy washy, 4-5 QB's will be taken in the top 7. A lot of teams are just that desperate.
